The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martinez tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Rostowski is able to avoid easily. Rostowski slips a straight right by Martinez. Martinez cracks Rostowski with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Nice takedown defense from Martinez. No joy for Rostowski on that attempt. A looping hook to the body misses from Martinez. Rostowski does a little dance to reset his feet. Rostowski on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. An inside leg kick lands from Martinez. Martinez throws a leg kick and Rostowski counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Martinez is defending against the submission attempts here by Rostowski.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rostowski is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Martinez is just riding it out for now. Rostowski eventually gives up the hold. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Edgardo tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but King paws at him with a jab and circles away. King ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Edgardo moves away. Edgardo misses with the combination.
King closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Edgardo is looking for a sweep. Edgardo defending against the ground and pound. King landing strikes. King wants to control but Edgardo is keeping him busy. King throws an elbow but Edgardo slips to the side and avoids it well. King working the strikes but Edgardo uses the opportunity to regain half guard. King is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Edgardo is just riding it out for now. King eventually gives up the hold.

King has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Edgardo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Edgardo tries to get out of the position. Edgardo keeping moving, preventing King from controlling successfully. King throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. King throws a big right hand that misses. King scores with a decent looking elbow strike. King forces his way into half guard. King is looking for a kimura here.

He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Edgardo works his way back into a safe position though. King is looking to sinch up a triangle. Edgardo throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to King's body to avoid the submission. King has instead reached around Edgardo's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! King arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

De Kaizer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. De Kaizer gets caught napping as Edwards dives in and scores a takedown. De Kaizer manages to retain guard. Stillao wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! You can see the frustration on Stillao's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Borisov throws a body punch but Piper moves out of range. Piper misses with a wild combination.
Piper moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Borisov throws a right and a left that Piper avoids nicely. Borisov misses with a hook. Borisov avoids the body shot from Piper.
Borisov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Piper moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Borisov drops Piper with a beautiful combination! Piper stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Borisov is looking for the KO!
Piper is rocked!
It looks like Roddy Piper has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A punch combination from Borisov misses. Piper is still on wobbly legs! Can Borisov finish him? Borisov is throwing punches like he's double parked. Oh my word! Huge right hand from Borisov shuts the power down on Piper. Lights out, game over! Borisov is your winner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Genesis fails with the takedown and James counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. James just misses with a punch to the body.
Genesis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. James lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Genesis circles away quickly and effectively. Genesis tries for a takedown but James circles away easily and James counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Genesis thinking. Genesis misses with a takedown and James counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sega Genesis. That's going to take a lot out of him. James swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Genesis with a lazy takedown attempt and James counters with a nice body shot. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! James will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
James blocks a jab. Genesis doesn't succeed with the takedown and James counters with a lovely straight right hand!

That's one minute gone in the round. James fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Genesis has his takedown stuffed and James counters with a nice right hand that sends Genesis toppling to the canvas! Genesis scrambles and gets back to his feet - can James finish him?! Genesis is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Genesis uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by James.

James is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Genesis rather than just go for the knockout. James lands a big right hand that sends Genesis crashing to the mat! James stays standing though and waves Genesis back to his feet!
Genesis is rocked! Genesis keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
James cracks Genesis on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Genesis falls backwards against the cage. James follows up with more strikes that drop Genesis to his knees. James keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Genesis! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vihtala fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Vihtala fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kawasaki has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Kawasaki shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Vihtala as he avoids it easily. Kawasaki misses the body punch and Kawasaki takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It looks like Robert Kawasaki has been cut. Vihtala tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A chopping leg kick lands by Vihtala. Robert Kawasaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kawasaki has his takedown stuffed and Vihtala moves into the clinch. Kawasaki tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Vihtala just stands there and leans against the cage. Aleksi Vihtala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Kawasaki. Vihtala controlling the action here for a moment.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kawasaki takes a shot to the head. Kawasaki tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Kawasaki misses with a punch on the inside.
Vihtala scores with an uppercut up the middle. Kawasaki is trying to force a seperation but Vihtala has the dominant position. Vihtala lands a left hand.
Vihtala lands a hook that snaps the head of Kawasaki backwards.
That's one minute gone in the round. A right handed body shot lands from Vihtala.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Vihtala creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Vihtala throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Kawasaki looks gassed! A short right from Vihtala on the inside. Vihtala cracks Kawasaki with a nice body shot. Vihtala pushes Kawasaki against the cage. Vihtala is working some dirty boxing. Vihtala pushes off with a quick right hook! Kawasaki goes down! Kawasaki tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Vihtala moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Fei Hong does a little dance to reset his feet. Fei Hong moves to clinch but Larsson breaks away and Larsson counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Fei Hong thinking. Larsson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Larsson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Fei Hong tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Larsson was well out of range. Poor timing from Fei Hong. Fei Hong tries to clinch but Larsson is having none of it. Larsson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Fei Hong but Fei Hong pushes him off and we're back to square one. Larsson misses with an uppercut. Fei Hong saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fei Hong moves to clinch but Larsson breaks away and Larsson counters with a takedown into side control. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Larsson scores with a couple of short elbows. Larsson is looking to take a break and control but Fei Hong is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fei Hong is working to avoid the ground and pound but Larsson connects with a decent elbow. Fei Hong knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Larsson on the ground. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Larsson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fei Hong has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Larsson but great work by Fei Hong. Larsson can't do much from the bottom here. Larsson is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Larsson won't allow Fei Hong to pass to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Larsson is pressing down on Fei Hong's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Fei Hong tries to stand but Larsson is controlling from the bottom. Larsson pulls Fei Hong in to control the position. Larsson working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fei Hong. Fei Hong trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Larsson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Fei Hong! Larsson looking to finish Fei Hong with some ground and pound. This is bad for Fei Hong! Larsson with good strikes from the mount here! Fei Hong is looking to get to half guard. Larsson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Larsson with shots to the head and body - Fei Hong looks very uncomfortable down there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fei Hong takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Whack. That's a big, big shot from Larsson! Fei Hong is out cold! This one is all over!
