Matos drops Dottson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Dottson looks back up at him and smiles so Matos waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

It looks like Michael Dottson has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Dottson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Dottson drops his hands momentarily. Matos doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Dottson staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Dottson doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

A very excited looking Charles Matos rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
