3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Flako Gracie! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gracie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has O Reilly pinned against the cage. O Reilly gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Gracie misses with an uppercut. O Reilly saw that one coming. Gracie drops O Reilly with a beautiful combination! O Reilly stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Gracie is looking for the KO!
It looks like Seamus O Reilly has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. O Reilly slips under a jab. O Reilly throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. O Reilly leaves Gracie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but O Reilly paws at him with a jab and circles away. O Reilly tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. A jab from Gracie misses. Gracie bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. O Reilly defending against the ground and pound. Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but O Reilly is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Gracie lands a few punches from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gracie tries to advance position but instead O Reilly slips a leg back in to half guard. Gracie controlling the pace. O Reilly wants to improve his position but Gracie is controlling well.
Gracie is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gracie misses with a head shot. O Reilly uses the momentum to regain guard. Gracie controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Gracie pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. O Reilly is keeping the position for now. Gracie thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Gracie works over O Reilly with some ground and pound from guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed O Reilly's guard. Gracie wants to lay and pray for a moment but O Reilly keeps working. Gracie is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gracie works his foot free and advances to mount. Gracie is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But O Reilly has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from O Reilly!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. O Reilly gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. O Reilly wants to pass the guard but Gracie is keeping the position. Gracie bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in O Reilly's guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. O Reilly is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gracie wants to control from the top but O Reilly keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Flako Gracie dominated that round. The cut man is working on Seamus O Reilly's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
O Reilly throws a solid leg kick but Gracie takes the impact on his shin and smiles at O Reilly. Seamus O Reilly is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. O Reilly closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - O Reilly lands in his opponent's guard. Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. O Reilly gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. O Reilly doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Gracie is tightening it up a little... O Reilly has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! O Reilly reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! O Reilly taps out! nice BJJ there by Gracie!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith looks to score with a jab to the body but Pelmeni is just out of range. Decent striking displayed by Smith there. Smith catches Pelmeni with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Pelmeni tries to clinch but Smith is having none of it. Pelmeni tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Smith paws at him with a jab and circles away. Pelmeni tries to clinch but Smith is having none of it. The fight stays on the outside here - Pelmeni looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Smith works Pelmeni's body with a nice hook. Smith throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Pelmeni looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Pelmeni tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center. Pelmeni gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Smith to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Smith showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Smith has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pelmeni wants to stand and escape but Smith is having none of it. Pelmeni manages to escape and get back to his feet.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Nice strikes from Smith there. Smith is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Smith takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Smith lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Pelmeni is in trouble now - Smith has advanced to mount! Pelmeni's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Smith landing shots from mount. The referee warns Pelmeni that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Smith misses the jab. Smith shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Pelmeni napping and manages to drive through into side control! If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Smith is working Pelmeni over with some ground and pound from side control. Smith cracks Pelmeni with an elbow. That is naaassty. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Smith is looking to take a break and control but Pelmeni is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Smith works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Smith scores with a couple of short elbows.

Pelmeni is rocked! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Pelmeni can do anything to dispel that myth. Smith cracks Pelmeni with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Smith immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Pelmeni is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Smith!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hatfield fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Hatfield tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kenyon uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hatfield. Hatfield tries a head kick but it misses.
Hatfield connects with a nice looking jab.
Hatfield bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Kenyon moves away from the strike by Hatfield. Hatfield misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Shabadoo throws an overhand right that lands on Carpio's shoulder, as Carpio tries to avoid the shot. Carpio throws a wild body kick that Shabadoo sees coming a mile off. Carpio cracks Shabadoo with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Shabadoo misses with a kick to the body and Carpio counters with a thumping low kick. Shabadoo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Carpio trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Carpio postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Shabadoo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Carpio is one step ahead there. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Carpio accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Shabadoo looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Carpio would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Carpio. Shabadoo shrugs it off though. Shabadoo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Shabadoo throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Carpio. Carpio feints and then cracks Shabadoo's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Shabadoo down. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Carpio lands with a thumping leg kick.

Shabadoo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Shabadoo feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shabadoo fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Carpio looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Carpio takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Shabadoo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Carpio gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Shabadoo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
