The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adams lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bjj circles away quickly and effectively. Bjj on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Adams scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Bjj thows a leg kick but Adams checks it and Adams counters with a thumping low kick. Bjj has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Bjj really is a fat lump.

Adams shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bjj eats them both and turns towards Adams to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
And that's the end of the fight! Bryan Adams comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Adams has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Spar has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Horse looks to score with a jab to the body but Spar is just out of range. Horse should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Horse takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wrestling Spar. Well Spar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Winner could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sakaki shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Sakaki looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Sakaki thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Sakaki looking to ground and pound but Mma is blocking nicely. Mma holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Sakaki tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Mma is squirming around, avoiding Sakaki's attempts to control the action. Mma wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mma manages to regain half guard whilst avoiding the strikes. Sakaki could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Mma makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! Sakaki looking for a takedown here - he's got it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Mma can do anything to dispel that myth. Sakaki throwing strikes but missing.

Sakaki throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mma was covering up waiting for the punch and Sakaki finishes the takedown easily into guard. Sakaki throws a strike but Mma rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sakaki throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Mma escapes and throws Sakaki's legs to the side, diving into side control! Mma stands up and we're back to a striking position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sakaki looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Mma! Sakaki tries to control but Mma wriggling away. Mma has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Sakaki's lack of action.
