2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, JJ Thomas! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mays gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Mays avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Thomas postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Mays is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Thomas, into his guard. Thomas is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Mays has his hands clasped together but Thomas extends an breaks Mays's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Thomas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A clash of legs there as Nisterlooy blocks the low kick. Nisterlooy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nisterlooy throws a series of punches but Red moves out of range. Nisterlooy on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Red. Red obviously looking to wear him down.

Red dodges the punch combination from Nisterlooy.
Nisterlooy shoots in but Red avoids the takedown attempt easily. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nisterlooy. Red slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Nisterlooy throws a combination that misses and Red counters with a series of strikes. Nisterlooy will be more careful next time no doubt. Lance Nisterlooy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Red swings for the body but Nisterlooy moves out of range.

and Red makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Nisterlooy is breathing heavily. A jab from Red finds it's way through Nisterlooy's defenses. Red cracks Nisterlooy with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Red has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Nisterlooy to stand back up!
Nisterlooy is rocked! Nisterlooy is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Red Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Nisterlooy is out cold, face down on the mat!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sabre fails to land with a series of punches.
Nu tries to bum rush Sabre with a series of wild strikes but Sabre uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nu throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Sabre tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Nu is in Sabre's guard. Nu seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Sabre is looking to sweep but instead, Nu has passed into half guard.

Sabre won't allow Nu to pass to mount. Sabre taking some punishment here, with Nu in his half guard. Nu perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Nu scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Nu slows the pace down in half guard. Sabre trying to control but Nu postures up.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Nu stalling. Nu looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Sabre with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sabre is looking to improve his position.
Nu working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Nu is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Sabre controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Nu moves into full mount! Sabre won't be happy about that!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nu landing shots from mount. Nu loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Sabre scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Nu land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Nu stands and salutes the crowd.

Reynolds is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight. Reynolds swings for the body but Brown moves out of range.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Reynolds throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Reynolds throws a looping overhand right but Brown ducks down to avoid it. Reynolds looks to land a left hand but Brown moved out of range nicely. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Nice uppercut there from Brown. This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Reynolds might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Brown lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Reynolds thows a body shot but no joy. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Reynolds crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Brown - the referee stops the clock and Reynolds gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Brown. Reynolds manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Reynolds avoids a lazy jab quite easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Brown showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

And that's the end of the fight! Joe Brown comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Brown has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
