Russo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Tupac-The Uppercut. Grant is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Beanie (Mack B****). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Rua does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Ribeiro shoots in looking for a takedown. Rua tries to sprawl out of it but Ribeiro keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rua manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Ribeiro uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rua.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ribeiro crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rua - the referee stops the clock and Ribeiro gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rua. Ribeiro manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
