Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas fails with the takedown
and Red counters with a straight right hand.
Red connects with a crisp jab.
Thomas fails with the takedown.
Thomas drives through with a takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Red looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Red seems keen to control Thomas's posture.
Thomas drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Thomas jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Red wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Red is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Red keeping moving, preventing Thomas from controlling successfully.

Thomas throws a big elbow that misses.
Thomas wants to control from the top but Red keeps moving.
Thomas in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Red wants to sweep but no luck.
Thomas passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Red is looking for a sweep.
Thomas has an Americana. Red didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Thomas is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Thomas hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

A punch combination from Nu misses.
Brown connects with a solid leg kick.
Brown delivers a nice body kick.
A head kick misses from Nu.
Nu tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Brown connects with a jab.
Brown misses with an attempted mid kick.
Nu throws out a leg kick but Brown moves out of range and Nu only half commits.
A chopping leg kick lands by Brown.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nu misses with a series of wild punches.
Nu needs to keep his hands up - Brown had a free shot at his head there.
Nu tries a head kick but it misses.
Joe Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown throws a nice inside leg kick.
A good leg kick by Brown.
Nu looks gassed!
Horrible takedown by Nu or perhaps it was just good defense by Brown which made him look bad.
Brown lands a body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Nu moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Zhuge Nu has been cut.
Brown lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Nu stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Brown.
Nice body kick there by Brown.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brown drops Nu with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nu looks back up at him and smiles so Brown waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Nu is rocked!
Brown cracks Nu with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Nu tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Brown pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Nu is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Brown!
