3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jon Drexler! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drexler fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Gotti to the ground. Drexler is now in Gotti's guard. Drexler content to stall in guard here. Drexler postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Drexler trying to control the position from guard on top but Gotti is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Drexler sitting in guard here, content to control. Drexler with a nice head shot there. Drexler not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gotti wants to control but Drexler passes easily into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Ground and pound from Drexler. Gotti is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Drexler pulls his head out easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Drexler stops Gotti from getting back to his feet.
Gotti is in trouble now - Drexler has advanced to mount! Drexler with good strikes from the mount here! Drexler landing strikes from the mount and Gotti is in trouble! Gotti tries to reverse the position but Drexler maintains control. Drexler trying to control but Gotti is having none of it. Gotti takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gotti tries to hold on but Drexler postures up.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bronson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. No luck for Bronson with that takedown attempt. Bronson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Everlast defends it nicely. Niko Bronson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Everlast throws an off balance right hand
and Bronson counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Bronson is just content to waste time from the top position. Everlast takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Bronson drops back, looking for a kneebar! Everlast looks panicked! Everlast really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bronson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brooking shoots for a double leg takedown but Mokowski sprawls well. He's pushed Brooking's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Mokowski tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brooking was well out of range. Poor timing from Mokowski. Mokowski misses with a jab, cross combination.
Mokowski throws a lazy right hand but Brooking sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Brooking tries for a takedown but Mokowski sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Brooking is defended easily by Mokowski. Mak Mokowski has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Camden Brooking. Mokowski gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Brooking to score an easy takedown into full guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Brooking is pushing down on Mokowski's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mokowski is fighting to maintain full guard but Brooking has managed to sneak the leg through. Mokowski wants to get back to his feet. Mokowski is defending against the submission attempts here by Brooking.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cell connects with a nice looking jab.
Johnson tries for a takedown but Cell circles away easily and Cell counters with a stiff right hand. Johnson has his takedown stuffed letting Cell counter with a right hand.
Johnson is rocked! Ouch! a nice leg kick from Cell, right into the meat.
Cell cracks a nice hook into Johnson's ribs. Cell fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Johnson. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Johnson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Cell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Oh Johnson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josh Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cell scoring well with a low kick there.
Johnson seems to have got his legs back now. Johnson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Johnson is breathing heavily. Johnson takes a shot right to the bread basket. Cell punishes Johnson's body with a nice straight punch. Cell waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Johnson. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Johnson to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Cell passes Johnson's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Cell in particular looking to stall. Cell winds up and cracks Johnson with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Cell is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Johnson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cell content to control rather than advance. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Johnson regains full guard. Nicely done.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Stem Cell was stalling too much, according to the referee. Johnson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Cell counters with a lovely straight right hand! Cell moves into range and clinches up with Johnson. Cell lands a shoulder strike. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Johnson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Johnson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Johnson keeping moving, preventing Cell from controlling successfully. Johnson is looking for a triangle but Cell pushes his legs off easily.

Stem Cell is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Johnson tries to reverse the position but Cell maintains control.
And that's the end of the fight! Stem Cell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Cell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. It looks like Dylan Mcgrath has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A momentary lapse in concentration from Mcgrath enables Watson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mcgrath manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Mcgrath keeping moving, preventing Watson from controlling successfully.
