The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moltisanti finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Smith lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Moltisanti goes down and covers up as Smith starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!

Da Souza has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Feliciano is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Da Souza.

Sakalas goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Gracie has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sakalas but great work by Gracie.
