Soni lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Kosh has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Soni uses from the top position.

Kosh has his feet on Soni's thighs here. He's pushed Soni off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Soni screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

and Markson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Crunch! Markson slams his shin into Bandicoot's torso.

Markson thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Bandicoot if he has to take too many more of those.

Crash Bandicoot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Markson scores with a one two! Bandicoot had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Markson fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bandicoot has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

John Markson is the new welterweight champion!
John Markson decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
