Looney has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Steel is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Looney yanks on the arm and Steel is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Looney.

It looks like Zane Pinwan has been cut. Pinwan lets loose with a powerful body kick. Norris will feel that in the morning. Pinwan motions for Norris to come forward. Pinwan throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Norris tries to close the distance and clinch but Pinwan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Merlino feints and as MacCheese raises his hands in defense, Merlino changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Merlino working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Merlino drops back looking for a leg! MacCheese is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and MacCheese manages to kick Merlino off! Merlino jumps back into MacCheese's guard.
