The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas Key jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Douglas Key connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Simans tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Douglas Key paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A jab lands there for Douglas Key.

Simans is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Douglas Key gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Simans wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Douglas Key scores with a shoulder strike.
Simans is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Douglas Key lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Oh Simans is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Simans seems to have got his legs back now.

Simans's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Douglas Key throws a big uppercut that drops Simans! More strikes from Douglas Key and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Simans lies dazed against the cage as Douglas Key celebrates with his cornermen!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edgar will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Dyrdek feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Edgar turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Dyrdek off and cradles Edgar's limp body as Dyrdek celebrates with his corner.

Brascoe pushes a forearm under Grohl's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Grohl is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Boffle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
