The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis misses with a head kick.
Junior shoots in looking for a takedown but Davis manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Junior's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Junior shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Davis counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Davis. Junior is looking to sinch up a triangle. Davis throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Junior's body to avoid the submission. Junior has instead reached around Davis's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Junior arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Kimbo Junior! Kimbo Junior seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cael Shaughnessy! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wolf drops his hands momentarily and Shaughnessy takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Shaughnessy lands a jab to Wolf's midsection. A jab from Shaughnessy does it's job there. Shaughnessy wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Shaughnessy scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wolf doesn't seem bothered though. Wolf looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shaughnessy is fending him off so far but Wolf persists. Nope, Shaughnessy circles away and we're back to standing. Shaughnessy with a body punch. A glancing blow. Nice uppercut there from Shaughnessy. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wolf doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Wolf tries for a takedown but Shaughnessy sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A decent looking cross lands there for Shaughnessy. Wolf moves to clinch but Shaughnessy breaks away and Shaughnessy connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Wolf walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaughnessy lands with a nice body punch. Shaughnessy swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Shaughnessy is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Wolf rather than just go for the knockout. Shaughnessy jabs Wolf to the body, keeping him at a distance. Shaughnessy lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Wolf is rocked! Wolf on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Oh Wolf is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Wolf is breathing heavily. Wolf is holding his hands too far apart here. Shaughnessy throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Wolf is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jackson gets a double leg takedown into Hugs's guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Hugs wants to get back to his feet but Jackson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Jackson wants to control from the top but Hugs keeps moving. Hugs wants to stand up but Jackson is controlling him. Jackson trying to control but Hugs is working from the bottom.
Minotauro Jackson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Hugs slaps away a takedown attempt from Jackson, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hugs avoids it really well and circles away. Hugs connects with a looping right hand.
Hugs uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Jackson has time to react. Jackson shoots for a takedown but Hugs saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Kurtis Hugs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Minotauro Jackson. Jackson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jackson is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hugs sees it coming and defends easily. Hugs wants to control but Jackson is keeping busy.
Jackson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Hugs to stand up. This has been an exciting period of action! A leg kick checked by Jackson. Hugs swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Jackson. Jackson misses with a takedown attempt - Hugs sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Jackson tries for a takedown but Hugs sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Jackson looks gassed! Jackson fails to land the takedown. Jackson closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hugs throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hugs lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively. Hugs clobbers Jackson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Hugs lands a big right hand that sends Jackson crashing to the mat! Hugs stays standing though and waves Jackson back to his feet!
Jackson is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! A punch combination from Hugs misses. Jackson is still on wobbly legs! Can Hugs finish him? Hugs throws an overhand right that has Jackson reeling! Hugs follows up with more punches and Jackson is out cold! This one is all over!

Blin misses with a knee strike.
A frustrated look appears on Devreaux's face as he tries to break the clinch. Devreaux tries to stall but Blin uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Blin misses with a knee strike.
Devreaux has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Devreaux has had enough of the clinch but Blin keeps him there for the moment. Blin misses with a knee strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Savage's corner calls for a 1-2. Savage obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Savage throws a series of punches but Koscheck avoids them all with ease. Koscheck fails with the takedown. Savage slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Savage scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Koscheck ducks under a wild hook from Savage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Savage jabs Koscheck right on the nose. Koscheck blinks but takes it well. Koscheck fails to land the takedown. Savage misses with a two punch combination.
Koscheck wants to clinch up but Savage keeps it at a distance. Savage fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Koscheck on the side of the head. Savage misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Koscheck.
Savage tries to sprawl but Koscheck drives through with a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Koscheck has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Savage defend it? Koscheck steps over the head and cranks it - Savage is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Koscheck!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baker gets caught flat footed, as Jarrah shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Baker looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Jarrah stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Baker swivels though and keeps the full guard. Baker has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jarrah can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jarrah wants to control from the top but Baker keeps moving. Jarrah stands up over Baker, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Jarrah wants to control from the top but Baker keeps moving. Jarrah keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Baker's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jarrah with shots to the head and body - Baker looks very uncomfortable down there. Jarrah dominating with strikes here. Jarrah is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Baker to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Baker shrugs it off. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rig delivers a nice body kick. Rig uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Jo. Both fighters circling a little - Rig finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Rig is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Rig throws a sloppy head kick and Jo moves out of range easily. Jo chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Rig can pounce on him.
Rig throws a head kick that misses. Rig steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Jo. Jo misses with a straight left. Jo misses with a looping left. Jo fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rig manages to avoid it. Jo looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Rig scores with a leg kick.
Rig wants to slow Jo down by chopping away at his legs. Jo throws out a token jab with nothing on it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jo throws a looping overhand right but Rig ducks down to avoid it. Rig moves in looking to clinch but Jo pushes him off. Jo wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Rig scores with a leg kick.

Jo looks to land a combination but Rig avoids it well. Rig on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Rig slips a jab from Jo. Jo fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Jo just misses with a punch to the body.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jo takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

It looks like Barry Rig has been cut. Jo lands a right hand that snaps the head of Rig backwards. Jo tries to circle away but Rig has him pinned against the cage. Rig crunches a lovely knee into Jo's ribcage. Rig pulls guard. Jo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Jo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jo is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Jo trying to control the position from guard on top but Rig is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Jo closes the distance and clinches up with Rig, looking for a takedown. Jo pushes Rig against the cage but Rig circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rig scores with a kick to the body.
Rig slips under a jab from Jo. Jo shoots in for a double leg but Rig sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jo takes a kick to the side of the head. Jo looks to land a right hand but Rig moved out of range. Jo throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rig sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rig goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A decent looking body kick lands there for Rig. Jo throws a lazy right hand but Rig sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rig uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Jo.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Jo crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rig - the referee stops the clock and Jo gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rig. Jo manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Jo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Jo misses the shot to the body. Rig doesn't manage to clinch there - Jo circles away.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jumbo Jo. I think Rig has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
