Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chad Looney! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maine slaps away a takedown attempt from Looney, before circling back to the center of the mat. Looney shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Maine but Maine pushes him off and we're back to square one. Maine lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Looney at a distance.
Looney dives in and grabs Maine's left leg, looking for a takedown. Maine pushes down on Looney's head and hops out. Mack Maine has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chad Looney. Maine goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Maine fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Looney, pushing him back against the cage. Maine lands a damaging elbow. Maine lands with a short head shot on the inside. Maine manages to break the clinch.
Maine tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Looney paws at him with a jab and circles away. Maine connects with a nice looking jab.
Nice defenses there by Maine. Maine connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Looney momentarily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Maine tries to clinch there but Looney circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Looney fails with a takedown attempt. Maine fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Looney, pushing him back against the cage. Looney takes an elbow to the forehead. Maine lands an elbow just above Looney 's eye. Maine lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Chad Looney has been cut. Maine lands an elbow just above Looney 's eye. Looney tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Maine just stands there and leans against the cage. Maine lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Maine escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Maine ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Maine tries to clinch but Looney moves out of range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Maine lands with an uppercut that bounces Looney off the cage and back into range. Maine tries to clinch up. Maine lands a jab to Looney's midsection. Looney fails with the takedown. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Maine lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Maine has managed to clinch.
Maine lands an elbow just above Looney 's eye. Looney takes an elbow to the temple. Maine pushes Looney back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Maine escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mack Maine is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Maine doesn't manage to clinch there - Looney circles away.
Maine clinches.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Maine lands with a light punch inside. Maine lands with a right to the head. Looney drops down looking for an ankle pick but Maine pulls his leg out and moves away.
Looney on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Maine tries to clinch up. Looney swats away the attempt to clinch by Maine. Looney circles away from the clinch attempt.
Maine fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Looney, pushing him back against the cage. Maine working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Stalling in the clinch from Maine.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Maine lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Looney drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Maine controlling the action here for a moment.
Looney gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Looney seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Maine is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

On his way into the cage it seems that Hope Felgrind has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Hope Felgrind seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Felgrind lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Merlino shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Felgrind pinned against the cage. Felgrind gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Felgrind stuffs the takedown. Merlino shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Felgrind defends it nicely. Hope Felgrind has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vittorino Merlino. Merlino on the wrong end of a nice hook. A jab from Felgrind finds it's way through Merlino's defenses. Felgrind connects with a leg kick. Merlino looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Merlino shoots in and drives through. Felgrind sprawls well. Hope Felgrind seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Merlino shoots in for a double leg but Felgrind sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Excellent takedown into side control there by Merlino. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Felgrind is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Merlino is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Felgrind knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Felgrind is looking to regain half guard here but Merlino keeps moving and retains side control. Merlino has an Americana. Felgrind didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Merlino is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Merlino hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
