The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koscheck with a jab. Fonseca scores a takedown into full mount! We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Koscheck tries to get back to half guard but can't. A nice elbow there by Fonseca. Fonseca lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Koscheck tries to hold on but Fonseca postures up. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fonseca dominating with strikes here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koscheck in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Koscheck tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Koscheck stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fonseca swivels though and keeps the full guard. Koscheck trying to control but Fonseca is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Koscheck drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fonseca looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fonseca looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fonseca! Koscheck wants to control but Fonseca postures up. Fonseca creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Koscheck sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Koscheck is trying to control Fonseca's posture but Fonseca avoids it. Koscheck manages to work his way to half guard, despite Fonseca's best efforts. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Koscheck looking for submissions from an awkward position here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Koscheck is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Koscheck is trying to control but can't.

A close round but Ross Koscheck will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Koscheck tries for a takedown but Fonseca circles away easily and Fonseca counters with a one-two to the body. Fonseca has a takedown stuffed. Fonseca shoots in and bounces Koscheck off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Koscheck had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Fonseca defends it easily. Fonseca is stalling in the full guard. Fonseca keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Koscheck's head. Fonseca sitting in guard here, content to control. Koscheck working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fonseca doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fonseca manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fonseca has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Koscheck looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Fonseca is defending well. Koscheck quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Fonseca has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lacy shoots in for a double leg but Draugovich Ii sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Lacy is looking to clinch but Draugovich Ii is avoiding it.
Lacy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lacy lands in his opponent's guard. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Curtis scores with a crisp jab that stopped Navozov in his tracks. Good exchange - Navozov coming out on top. Curtis misses with a wild body shot. Navozov misses with a low kick.
Navozov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Curtis throws out the jab. No joy there for Navozov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Curtis closes the distance and clinches. A nice left hand lands by Curtis.
Curtis lands a body punch in the clinch. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Curtis creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Curtis lands a shoulder strike. Wood tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Emilson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Emilson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Emilson is looking to get to half guard. Emilson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Wood. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wood has hold of Emilson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Emilson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Wood is looking for a triangle but Emilson pushes his legs off easily.

Emilson is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Wood's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Wood's back! Emilson lands a punch to the side of the head from the back. Emilson is aware though and is defending well. Emilson stands and steps away. Wood gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Wood gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Emilson has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Wood. Wood throws a nice looking combination but Emilson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Emilson cracks a nice hook into Wood's ribs. Horrible takedown by Emilson or perhaps it was just good defense by Wood which made him look bad. Wood fails with an attempt to clinch.

A nice combination there by Emelianenko.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Lane crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Emelianenko - the referee stops the clock and Lane gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Emelianenko. Lane manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Emelianenko looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Emelianenko misses with the combination.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lane fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Emelianenko manages to avoid it. Emelianenko scores with a one two! Lane had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Emelianenko slips a jab and a cross from Lane.
Emelianenko connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Emelianenko lands a really nice looking cross but Lane seems unphased.
No luck for Lane with that takedown attempt. Lane misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Emelianenko lands with a nice combination. Lane backs away looking to recover. Emelianenko is looking to clinch. Lane shoots in but Emelianenko avoids the takedown attempt easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wanderlei Emelianenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Lane quickly recovers to half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Still in half guard, Emelianenko seems content to control. Lane wants to control but Emelianenko is keeping busy.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Emelianenko in particular looking to stall. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yuste scores with a nice strike. Manuel Yuste seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Widow shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Yuste manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Widow missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Widow tries to free his leg and advance position but Yuste is retaining full guard. Widow is working hard here to advance position. Widow is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Makarov is looking to stand up but Barris won't let him. Makarov trying to control the position from guard on top but Barris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

This has been an exciting period of action! Penn lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

It looks like Eder Silva has been cut. A big strike lands for Penn! That's really hurt Silva and he's turned his back - Penn keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Penn jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
