The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riggins forces Mignott back against the cage and clinches. Riggins lands a damaging elbow. Riggins with a knee to the head.
It looks like Akeem Mignott has been cut. Riggins lands an elbow that stopped Mignott in his tracks for a moment. Mignott takes a knee right on the jaw!
Mignott jumps guard but Riggins turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Riggins has Mignott pressed against the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Cayro or perhaps it was just good defense by Cola which made him look bad. Cayro fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Cola has a takedown stuffed. Cayro tries for a takedown but Cola sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Calvin Cayro. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cayro shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Commando stalling in the clinch but Latrell improves position. Latrell tightens his grip and picks Commando up, before dumping him to the ground. Commando manages to land in guard. Latrell postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Commando keeping full guard, as Latrell tries to pass. Commando is trying to keep Latrell in close.
Latrell with a flurry of punches that miss. Latrell is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McZongo throws a sloppy body shot
so Caraan counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Caraan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McZongo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Caraan has McZongo in his guard. McZongo's corner is telling him to maintain position. Caraan escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McZongo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. McZongo is stalling in the full guard. Caraan looking for a guillotine here but McZongo defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Caraan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McZongo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McZongo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. McZongo is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. McZongo passes easily into side control. Nice work. Caraan tries to get back to half guard but can't. McZongo is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McZongo trying to control the action but Caraan is working from the bottom. McZongo is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Caraan's shoulder. That is not cool. McZongo is looking to take a break and control but Caraan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Angus McZongo has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Caraan shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Caraan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McZongo is fending him off so far but Caraan persists. Nope, McZongo circles away and we're back to standing. Caraan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. McZongo throws a right hand that Caraan ducks under and follows up with a left that Caraan also avoids with ease. Jab by McZongo.
It looks like Cedric Caraan has been cut. McZongo lands with a straight right. Caraan didn't see that one coming. Caraan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McZongo. McZongo dips to his left and cracks Caraan with an uppercut! Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McZongo rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Caraan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in McZongo's guard now. McZongo has control of Caraan's left arm, preventing Caraan from doing any damage. Caraan got a little sloppy there for a moment and McZongo has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Caraan has managed to get both his arms back between McZongo's legs - danger averted. Caraan postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McZongo is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Caraan, into his guard. Caraan keeping moving, preventing McZongo from controlling successfully. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McZongo is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Angus McZongo dominated that round. The cut man is working on Cedric Caraan's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
McZongo throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Caraan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Angus McZongo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Caraan with a poor takedown and McZongo counters with a lovely shot to the body. Caraan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. McZongo uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Caraan has time to react.
That's one minute gone in the round. McZongo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nice uppercut there from McZongo. Angus McZongo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. McZongo lands a nice looking body shot.
McZongo rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Caraan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. McZongo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Caraans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! McZongo throws a left and a right that both miss
and Caraan counters with a low kick, right behind McZongo 's knee.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McZongo moves in looking to clinch but Caraan pushes him off. McZongo looks to land a right hand but Caraan moved out of range. McZongo thows a body shot but no joy. McZongo lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Cedric Caraan's cut is getting worse. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Caraan ducks under a wild hook from McZongo. McZongo slaps away a takedown attempt from Caraan, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McZongo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. McZongo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McZongo lands a glancing blow to the side of Caraan's head. Angus McZongo seems to be getting the better of the standup. Caraan on the wrong end of a nice hook. Caraan cracks the inside of McZongo's front leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McZongo connects with the punch.
Cedric Caraan's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. McZongo tries a low kick but Caraan avoids it. McZongo misses with the body kick and Caraan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McZongo! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McZongo is looking to get to half guard. Caraan fails to advance to McZongo's back. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McZongo is in all sorts of trouble here.
Caraan is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Caraan!

Mellendrez tries to pull guard but Camino holds him up against the cage and eventually Mellendrez drops back down to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reed clinches up against the cage. Zangief has Reed pressed against the cage, preventing Reed from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Zangief can't get the takedown.
Zangief has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Reed is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Zangief is trying to trip Reed. He has hold of a leg but Reed is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Zangief persists though and gets the takedown into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Zangief accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Zangief with a flurry of punches that miss. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Campbell has a takedown stuffed. Silva misses with a wild body shot. A slow jab from Campbell misses its intended target. Silva fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Campbell to the ground. Silva is now in Campbell's guard. Silva preventing the sweep. Silva loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Silva postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Silva wanted to stand there but Campbell had control of the position. Campbell looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva stands and throws Campbell's legs to the side, diving into side control. Silva stands up.

Silva drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Campbell dives on top into guard. Campbell passes Silva's left leg - he's now in half guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Selby Campbell will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Rua has Lirette pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Rua pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Lirette tumbling to the mat - Rua dives into Lirette's guard. Rua is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Lirette has his foot on Rua's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think.
