 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McNutt keeps the fight on the outside.
McNutt tries to keep at a distance but Odinson has taken the fight into the clinch. Odinson landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Odinson lands a damaging elbow.
 It looks like Lesnar McNutt has been cut. Odinson lands a knee to the head.
McNutt looks gassed! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Odinson scores a nice knee to the body.

Odinson breaks from the clinch.
Odinson clinches.
Odinson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Odinson instigates a clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Odinson. Odinson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. McNutt takes a knee right on the jaw!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Stalling in the clinch from Odinson.
McNutt takes an elbow to the forehead. Odinson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
McNutt is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Odinson can't fight it off and eventually McNutt manages to take the fight to the floor. Odinson looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Odinson is looking to stand up but McNutt isn't so interested in that idea. McNutt showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Odinson scrambles and gets back to his feet.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Odinson blocks a jab. Odinson is looking to clinch. Odinson moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
 That has opened up Lesnar McNutt's cut even more. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Odinson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Odinson tries to clinch there but McNutt circles away.
McNutt shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Odinson as he jumps to the side. Odinson lands with a kick to the ribs.
Odinson has McNutt up against the cage in a clinch.
Odinson creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through McNutt's defenses. Odinson connects with a nasty looking knee right to McNutt's face.
 The cut above Lesnar McNutt's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Odinson working McNutt over with knees to the body. A knee to the head by Odinson.
Odinson manages to break the clinch.
Odinson fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with McNutt, pushing him back against the cage.
Odinson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Odinson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Odinson lands a right hand that snaps the head of McNutt backwards. McNutt misses with a short punch on the inside. A nice left hand lands by Odinson.
Odinson lands a nice elbow. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Odinson connects with a nasty looking knee right to McNutt's face.
McNutt takes a knee to the side of the body.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Odinson comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. McNutt takes an elbow to the forehead.
Odinson breaks the clinch.
Odinson scores with a decent looking hook.
 Lesnar McNutt's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Odinson gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Odinson lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Odinson lands a knee to the head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Lesnar McNutt's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Thorin Odinson! Post fight, Thorin Odinson took to the microphone: 'What! What! Mr. Hawk am I not good enough for a title fight? Are you going to screw me just like everyone else. I put in work, Give me a shot and see who comes up a winner. Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jarvis Skourge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lane Frost (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frost comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 8 second ride (Jake Owen) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Skourge has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed right hand from Frost misses the target. Frost shoots for a takedown but Skourge saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Frost.
Frost wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Skourge, who protects the arm well.
Frost is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Skourge has escaped the position, nice work there.
Frost thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Skourge knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Frost on the ground.
Frost tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Frost has an Americana. Skourge didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Frost is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Frost hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Trechner throws a sloppy head kick and Akari moves out of range easily. Akari tries to close the distance and clinch up but Trechner swats him away and circles back towards the center. Akari avoids the head kick by Trechner.

Lii drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Daniels dives on top into guard. Lii looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Lii can do anything to dispel that myth.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Daniels wants to pass to mount but Lii is defending the position.

Daniels is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lii is just riding it out for now. Daniels eventually gives up the hold.

Lii looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Lii really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Daniels. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Daniels is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Lii has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Lii!
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lii postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Lii accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Daniels might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lii wants to stand but Daniels has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Lii throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Daniels works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Lii throws a big right hand that misses.

Daniels pivots and extends the arm, Lii falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Daniels! Well done that man!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nolam fails in his attempt to clinch. Nolam tries to clinch but Cain moves out of range. Nolam is looking to clinch but Cain is avoiding it.
Nolam rushes Cain and presses him up against the cage.
Cain jumps into guard, dragging Nolam to the mat.
Cain working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nolam doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Cain is tightening it up a little... Nolam has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Nolam reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Nolam taps out! Nice BJJ there by Cain!
