0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Kristofferson! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kristofferson shoots in for a takedown but Dime shows good takedown defense. Dime throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Kristofferson's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Dime dives in looking to finish as Kristofferson flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Dime's strikes! Dime is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Kristofferson's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Kristofferson was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brooks is trying hard to land a takedown here. McKenzie sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. McKenzie connects with a solid leg kick. McKenzie lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by McKenzie. McKenzie misses with a wild combination.
McKenzie tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. McKenzie throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Brooks crumples to the floor and the fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Materson shoots in looking for a takedown but Espinoza manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Materson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Materson pushes Espinoza up against the cage in a clinch. Espinoza utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Espinoza stalling.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James is looking to clinch. King tries for a takedown but James sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. James tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but King swivels and escapes. King manages to get an easy takedown there - catching James on his heels. He'll look to pass James's guard now, I'm sure. King drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but James manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now King has James in his guard. King is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. King wriggles free and stands up. James instigates a clinch. James breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

That's one minute gone in the round. King working the ground and pound. James wants to control but King postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. King is trying to get an arm triangle but James is defending well. King looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. King landing a few strikes. King thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. King wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by James, who protects the arm well.

King scores with punches from side control. King stands up and we're back to a striking position.

King tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but James was well out of range. Poor timing from King. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from King. James fails with a takedown attempt. King closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming James to the mat! James manages to get full guard. James can't keep his opponent in guard - King advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. King not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. King is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
King is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. King quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for King but it's paid off an James is forced to tap! Nice work by King.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shokhzodayev with a lazy takedown attempt so Hummel counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Shokhzodayev controls Hummel momentarily but Hummel frees himself. Shokhzodayev might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Shokhzodayev is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Hummel is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Shokhzodayev will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Hummel trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hummel passes Shokhzodayev's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Shokhzodayev is trying to control but Hummel manages to pass to mount!
Shokhzodayev tries to hold on but Hummel postures up. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hummel looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Hummel landing strikes from the mount and Shokhzodayev is in trouble! Hummel controlling the position easily from mount. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shokhzodayev takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Hummel connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hummel with a couple of short strikes. BOOM! Hummel connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Shokhzodayev wants to control but Hummel is having none of it. Shokhzodayev is breathing heavily. Hummel controlling from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hummel lands a big shot there that rocks Shokhzodayev but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Hummel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Shokhzodayev tries to lock up and control but Hummel gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Hummel controlling his opponent. Hummel has isolated one of Shokhzodayev's arms. Shokhzodayev looking to fight him off but Hummel twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Schiller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Schiller throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Schiller connects with a high kick. Schiller throws a looping overhand right but Vinicius ducks down to avoid it. Schiller gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Vinicius counters with a nice double leg into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Vinicius throws a strike but Schiller rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Vinicius is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vinicius preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Vinicius keeping moving, preventing Schiller from controlling successfully. Vinicius can't keep his opponent in guard - Schiller advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Vinicius kicks Schiller off and gets back to his feet. Vinicius throws a combination. Schiller tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Schiller slaps away a takedown attempt from Vinicius, before circling back to the center of the mat. Schiller misses with a kick to the body.
Whack! Schiller lands a heavy head kick that drops Vinicius. The ref tackles Schiller to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Vinicius was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Horst Schiller! During a confident post fight interview, Horst Schiller thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

Yoder lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Reagan! Yoder sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Reagan and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
