The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Johnson lands a few punches from side control.
Johnson wants to control but Rosenberg is keeping him busy.
Johnson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Rosenberg parries the strikes from Johnson easily there. Johnson is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Rosenberg to escape.

Rosenberg tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Johnson fails to advance to Rosenberg's back.
Johnson has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rosenberg's face.
Rosenberg really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Johnson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Rosenberg is still in real trouble! Can Johnson finish him?
Johnson loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Rosenberg scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Johnson land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Johnson stands and salutes the crowd.

Woo throws a lazy right hand but Briggs sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
