0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clayton McNally! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, John Roberts and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McNally misses with a jab, cross combination.
Cridell avoids a punch combination nicely.
McNally lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cridell circles away quickly and effectively. McNally leaves Cridell with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. McNally tries a head kick but it misses.
McNally misses with a jab, cross combination.
McNally looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. McNally misses with a few strikes there.

Cridell clinches up against the cage. Cridell is trying to drag McNally to the mat but McNally just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cridell escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McNally's guard. Cridell looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Cridell works a leg free and moves into half guard. Cridell escapes and gets back to his feet. Clayton McNally is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Cridell is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in McNally's half guard. Cridell is breathing heavily. McNally pushes Cridell off looking to stand but Cridell dives back in and keeps control.
McNally scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Cridell manages to mount him!
McNally is squirming around, avoiding Cridell's attempts to control the action. Cridell postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. McNally looks a forlorn figure.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You get the feeling that McNally really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Cridell misses with a head shot. Cridell thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Cridell won't let McNally get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. McNally really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cridell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Cridell sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! McNally wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Poor strikes thrown by Cridell there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
McNally is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
McNally is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

McNally throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Clayton McNally seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cridell closes the distance and clinches. A nice glancing elbow lands by Cridell. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Nice body punch from Cridell - that landed with a thud.
McNally wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Cridell has him pressed against the cage.

Danga de danga de dang - McNally scores with a four punch combination! Churko Cridell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A nice leg kick lands there from Cridell.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McNally lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cridell circles away quickly and effectively. McNally scores to the head and body with a nice combination! McNally avoids a lazy jab quite easily. McNally throws a right and a left that Cridell avoids nicely. The fighters circle momentarily. McNally darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Cridell shoots for a takedown but McNally saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. McNally misses with the combination.

McNally has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Cridell has taken the fight to the clinch.

Cridell has McNally pressed against the cage, preventing McNally from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Cridell tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Clayton McNally showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Cridell has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Cridell there as he acknowledges the shot. McNally throws a body punch but Cridell moves out of range. McNally lands a nice shot that snaps Cridell's head back.
Cridell instigates a clinch. Cridell jumps guard and drags McNally to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. McNally postures up.
Cridell is really struggling to control McNally but he's trying to hold on to the position. Cridell tries to land a sweep but no joy. McNally wanted to stand there but Cridell had control of the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. McNally must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Nice jab there from McNally. McNally scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. McNally misses with a two punch combination.

Cridell takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. McNally throws a right and a left that Cridell avoids nicely. A nice combination there by McNally.

Cridell drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. McNally avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Cridell working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Cridell postures up in McNally's guard and throws a big left but McNally blocks it. McNally can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Cridell controls the pace. Cridell trying to control but McNally is working from the bottom. McNally wants to stand up but Cridell is controlling him.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Elam moves out of range of the body kick. Adams throws a head kick but Elam moves out of range.
Elam gets the takedown into side control. Elam trying to control the action but Adams is working from the bottom. Adams stops Elam from passing to mount. Adams really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Elam. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Elam is working to tighten is grip on Adams's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Adams has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Elam is really squeezing tight and eventually Adams passes out! Elam breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Visconti bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Nice takedown defense from Drabek. No joy for Visconti on that attempt. Drabek blocks a head kick by Visconti.
Visconti fails with a takedown attempt. Drabek defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Visconti. Jeff Drabek has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Michael Visconti. Visconti shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Drabek as he jumps to the side. Visconti shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Drabek manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Drabek is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Drabek looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Drabek is trying desperately to improve position. Visconti should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Visconti looking to control but Drabek is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Drabek tries to hold on but Visconti postures up. We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Visconti has eaten all the pies! Visconti is looking to work his way around to Drabek's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Visconti jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Drabek is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Drabek and Visconti has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Drabek is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Visconti sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Drabek defending well though. Visconti looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Drabek has control of Visconti's left arm, preventing Visconti from doing any damage. Visconti trying to control but Drabek is working from the bottom. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeff Drabek dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Visconti has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Drabek is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Visconti. Drabek will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Drabek lands some shots froms side control. Drabek wants to lay and pray for a moment but Visconti keeps working. Drabek working away. Drabek wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Visconti, who protects the arm well. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sesnak shoots in but Hall avoids the takedown attempt easily. Sesnak looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Some wild striking there from Hall.
Hall closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hall lands in his opponent's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hall accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sesnak is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Hall trying to control the position from guard on top but Sesnak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hall postures up in Sesnak's guard and throws a big left but Sesnak blocks it. Sesnak trying to strike off his back.
Hall wants to control from the top but Sesnak keeps moving. Hall knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Sesnak on the ground. Hall keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Sesnak's head. Hall with a flurry of punches that miss.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Hall darts in and clinches Sesnak up against the cage. Sesnak is fighting off a takedown attempt but Hall is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Sesnak to the mat. Sesnak regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Hall with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Hall passes Sesnak's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Hall perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Hall stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Sesnak to get to his feet. Left hook, right uppercut from Hall. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hall fails in his attempt to clinch. Hall lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Sesnak falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tate shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Tate showed some decent athleticism there. Tate thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Stevenson's head. Tate slows the pace down in half guard. Tate prevents Stevenson from improving his position. Tate lands a big shot.
