The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias throws a right hand that Takeshi ducks under and follows up with a left that Takeshi also avoids with ease.

Dias throws a hook but Takeshi blocks it.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Takeshi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dias with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Dias swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

BOOM! Takeshi connects with a massive shot to the dome!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Takeshi has control of Dias's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dias regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Oh Dias is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Takeshi cracks Dias with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Field shoots in but Makounchi avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Makounchi throws a series of punches but Field avoids them all with ease.
Field closes this distance looking for a takedown but Makounchi circles away.
Makounchi scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Whack! Vanguard lands a heavy head kick that drops McArthur. The ref tackles Vanguard to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because McArthur was done.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Power connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Power looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Swiatlovod has picked Power up and slammed him! Power can't keep hold of the triangle and Swiatlovod manages to pass to side control!

Power tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Swiatlovod was well out of range. Poor timing from Power.
Swiatlovod takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Swiatlovod moves into the clinch.

Swiatlovod has hold of one of Power's legs. Power is fighting the takedown attempt but Swiatlovod gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Swiatlovod got a little sloppy there for a moment and Power has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Swiatlovod has managed to get both his arms back between Power's legs - danger averted.

Power isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Swiatlovod stacks Power on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Swiatlovod!
Power seems a little lost for a moment, as Swiatlovod dominates the positioning.
Power tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Swiatlovod wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Power is not content to let Swiatlovod control the position.

Power throws Swiatlovod to one side and escapes!
Power throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Power enables Swiatlovod to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Power manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Power has his feet on Swiatlovod's thighs here. He's pushed Swiatlovod off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Swiatlovod screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
