The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Yawoka looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Suarez closes the distance and clinches up with Yawoka, looking for a takedown. Suarez pushes Yawoka against the cage but Yawoka circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Suarez decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Suarez slips a nice elbow through Yawoka's hands, connecting with Yawoka's forehead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Suarez is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Yawoka is hurt! He's hurt bad - Suarez fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Yawoka from any more punishment! Congratulations to Suarez! Great finish!
