The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Nurjas.
Tibs is looking to slow Nurjas down with leg kicks.
Nurjas tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tibs paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Tibs misses the shot to the body.
Nurjas falls off balance throwing a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Tibs lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Nurjan Nurjas has been cut.
Nurjas's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Tibs connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nurjas scrambles back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Tibs moves into range and connects with a jab.
Horrible takedown by Nurjas or perhaps it was just good defense by Tibs which made him look bad.
Tibs throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Nurjas looks gassed!
Nurjas thows a body shot but no joy.
Tibs drops Nurjas with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nurjas looks back up at him and smiles so Tibs waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Nurjas is rocked!

Nurjas gets tagged by a hook that puts him to sleep! Tibs points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Nurjas wakes up just in time to hear Tibs thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Garner moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Garner counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Garner.
Silva is looking to sinch up a triangle. Garner throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Silva's body to avoid the submission. Silva has instead reached around Garner's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Silva arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Esta anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Sailo and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Esta slips an arm under Sailo chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Esta has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Esta is squeezing on Sailo like an anaconda would it's prey. Sailo fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

A less than humble Pablo Esta misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.

Bastidas throws a nice looking combination but Phays bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Phays feints and then cracks Bastidas's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bastidas down.
Phays lands with a shot to the body.
Bastidas really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Bastidas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Phays.
Bastidas misses with a series of wild punches.
Phays lands a big head kick that sends Bastidas tumbling to the mat! Phays takes a step backwards and waves Bastidas back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Camilo Bastidas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
