The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reese gets a double leg takedown into Sniddlegrass's guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Sniddlegrass pushes Reese off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Sniddlegrass has managed to clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sadiq Hossein. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hossein, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nishiura throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Taito sees it coming and avoids it easily. Taito fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nishiura listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Taito tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nishiura swivels and escapes. Taito takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Nishiura dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Taito drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prime defending well as Colbert loads up on a big left hand. A nice leg kick lands there from Colbert. Prime avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Colbert ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Prime moves away. Colbert misses with a low kick as Prime jumps back. Prime wants to slow Colbert down by chopping away at his legs. Prime shoots in but no luck this time. Prime steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Colbert. Crunch! Colbert slams his shin into Prime's torso. Colbert throws a right and a left that Prime avoids nicely. Colbert leaves Prime with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colbert misses with a looping right. A right-left combo lands from Colbert. Prime lands a leg kick that knocks Colbert off balance momentarily. Brian Maddox seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Maddox just misses with a punch to the body.
Chavez fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Maddox avoids it really well and circles away. Maddox throws a jab when Chavez was well out of range. Maddox throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Chavez. The fight stays on the outside here - Chavez looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Chavez shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Maddox is trying to defend but Chavez finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
