The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rene lands a nice shot that snaps Werdum's head back.
Rene throws a leg kick which misses Werdum's front leg but catches the back leg as Werdum tries to avoid it. Rene digs a good body shot into Werdum's ribs. Nice jab there from Rene. Rene misses with a hook to the body
and Werdum counters with a single leg into guard. Rene didn't expect that. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Werdum drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rene manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Werdum has Rene in his guard. Werdum working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Rene has passed into half guard!
Werdum tries to get to full guard but Rene has control of the leg. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Werdum is working hard here to advance position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rene slows the pace down in half guard. Werdum is looking to escape. Werdum looking for submissions off his back. Rene controlling the pace. Werdum tries to roll over but Rene keeps him under control. Werdum looking for submissions from an awkward position here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Rene got a little sloppy there for a moment and Werdum has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rene has managed to get both his arms back between Werdum's legs - danger averted. Werdum has his foot on Rene's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rene works his way back into a safe position though. Rene advances to half guard. Werdum looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Werdum looking for submissions off his back. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Werdum wants to improve his position but Rene is controlling well.

A close round but Shane Rene will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Werdum slips a straight right by Rene. Werdum shoots in but Rene avoids the takedown attempt easily. Rene throws a jab when Werdum was well out of range. Rene throws a push kick but Werdum slaps the foot to one side. Werdum avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Rene missing with a left hand there. Werdum was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Werdum avoids the body shot from Rene.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Werdum. Rene lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
It looks like Renato Werdum has been cut. Rene jabbing away but nothing is landing. Rene waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Werdum. Rene connects with a jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. Werdum on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Werdum moves out of range as Rene strikes. Rene drops Werdum with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Werdum looks back up at him and smiles so Rene waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rene with a body punch. A glancing blow. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Rene throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Rene lands a big right hand that sends Werdum crashing to the mat! Rene stays standing though and waves Werdum back to his feet!
Werdum is rocked! Werdum drops his hands momentarily. Rene doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Werdum staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Werdum doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Shane Rene! An out of breath and clearly excited Shane Rene thanked RMC - $ 11 Shorts! for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Houzo with a lazy takedown attempt and Bala counters with a straight right hand. Houzo with a lazy takedown attempt and Bala counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Bala. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Bala drops back looking for a leg! Houzo is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Houzo manages to kick Bala off! Bala jumps back into Houzo's guard. Bala wants to pass the guard but Houzo is keeping the position. This has been an exciting period of action! Bala stands and throws Houzo's legs to the side, diving into side control. Bala tries to move to mount but Houzo blocks the move with his legs. Bala is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Houzo has escaped the position, nice work there. Bala goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Houzo has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Bala but great work by Houzo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bala gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Bala tries to roll over but Houzo keeps him under control. Bala wants to control but Houzo is keeping busy and won't allow it. Bala is looking to improve his position.
Houzo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Bala has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Houzo is working away from the top position though. Bala has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Houzo. Oh but Bala has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Houzo goes limp - he's gone! Bala jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sinclair scores with a nice strike. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Fatts, as that shot connected.
Nice shot by Sinclair. Sinclair drives through with a takedown into Fatts's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Sinclair loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Sinclair stops Fatts from standing up. Sinclair trying to control the position from guard on top but Fatts is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sinclair throws a big right hand that misses. Fatts manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sinclair manages to get himself to full guard.
Sinclair avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Sinclair is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Fatts manages to work his way to half guard, despite Sinclair's best efforts. Fatts regains full guard. Nicely done. Fatts controls Sinclair momentarily but Sinclair frees himself. Sinclair lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Sinclair trying to control but Fatts is working from the bottom.

Sinclair tries to free his leg and advance position but Fatts is retaining full guard. Sinclair is sitting in close to Fatts's body. Fatts has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sinclair is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sinclair is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Fatts.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kooch swings widly with a right hand
and Bruso counters with a head kick. Bruso shoots in for a takedown but Kooch shows good takedown defense. Kooch fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bruso avoids it really well and circles away. Good leg kick by Bruso there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Bruso gets caught napping as Kooch dives in and scores a takedown. Bruso manages to retain guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kooch drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kooch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bruso looking to hit a scissor sweep but Kooch is one step ahead there. Kooch postures up.

Kooch wants to pass the guard but Bruso is keeping the position. Kooch thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Kooch working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bruso doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bruso manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bruso wants to pass the guard but Kooch is keeping the position. Bruso looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kooch with a poor takedown so Bruso counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Kooch escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bruso gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bruso working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

Bruso escapes and throws Kooch's legs to the side, diving into side control! Bruso grinds an elbow into Kooch's temple. Bruso is looking to take a break and control but Kooch is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Bruso landing a few strikes. Kooch regains half guard. Kooch is refusing to be controlled, as Bruso sits in half guard. Bruso tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kooch knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Bruso slips a nice elbow through Kooch's hands, connecting with Kooch's forehead.

Bruso is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kooch has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Bruso is looking to defend but Kooch has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Bruso! Kooch pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Bruso taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monday moves out of range of the body kick from Green.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Green, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
