The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phelps fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Shin manages to avoid it.
Phelps looks to land a combination but Shin avoids it well.
Shin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Phelps as he jumps to the side.
Shin takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Marcus Shin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Phelps's half guard.
Shin wants to control but Phelps is keeping him busy.

Stark shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Stark keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
