The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pearce circles away from the clinch attempt.
Pearce takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Kyle Pearce has been cut.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Pearce.
Mac fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mac tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Mac tries to close the distance and clinch but Pearce swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kyle Pearce seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pearce takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Pearce is breathing heavily.
Mac fakes the leg kick and cracks Pearce in the body.
Mac lands a front kick.
Mac tries to close the distance and clinch but Pearce swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Mac cracks the inside of Pearce's front leg.
Mac thows a body kick. Pearce tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Mac connects with a solid leg kick.
Pearce takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Pearce on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Mac. Mac obviously looking to wear him down.
Mac moves in looking to clinch but Pearce pushes him off.
Mac scores with a kick to the midsection.
Mac buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Mac scores with a nice strike.
Mac throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Pearce could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Pearce avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

A slapping leg kick lands for Mac.
Mac fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Pearce chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Mac can pounce on him.
Mac lands a nice looking body kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pearce has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Mac.
Pearce tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Mac feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Pearce's calf.
Mac wants to clinch.
A nice leg kick lands there from Mac.
Pearce will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body.
Mac lands a big head kick that sends Pearce to the canvas! Mac follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoivunen throws a hook but Cooper avoids it easily.
Cooper tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hoivunen was well out of range. Poor timing from Cooper.
Hoivunen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Hoivunen misses with a few strikes there.
Cooper connects with a body shot that sends Hoivunen's belly button to the back.
Cooper avoids a kick to the body.
Hoivunen pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hoivunen scores with a head kick.
Cooper works Hoivunen's body with a nice hook.
Cooper sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

It looks like Mykka Hoivunen has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hoivunen throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hoivunen misses with a head kick.
Cooper takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
Cooper jabs at Hoivunen's body.

Hoivunen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

and Cooper makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hoivunen is breathing heavily.
Good exchange - Cooper coming out on top.
Hoivunen throws a combination that misses
and Cooper counters with a nice uppercut.
Cooper cracks Hoivunen with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hoivunen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hoivunen there as he acknowledges the shot.

Mykka Hoivunen's cut is getting worse.
Hoivunen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Cooper to score with a decent uppercut.
Cooper with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Hoivunen ducks straight into an uppercut from Cooper and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Hoivunen manages to regain guard straight away.

Hoivunen is rocked!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Cooper pushes down on Hoivunen's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Oh Hoivunen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hoivunen knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cooper on the ground.
Hoivunen is not content to let Cooper control the position.
Hoivunen seems to have got his legs back now.

Cooper in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Hoivunen tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Cooper!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zahradnicek throws a hook to the side of Ramirez's head but Ramirez sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ramirez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zahradnicek sprawls well. Zahradnicek wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ramirez gets slowly back to his feet.

Zahradnicek gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ramirez to score an easy takedown into full guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Ramirez postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Zahradnicek is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ramirez, into his guard.
Zahradnicek in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Zahradnicek drops back, looking for a kneebar! Ramirez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Ramirez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Ramirez!

Ramirez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Ramirez has hold of Zahradnicek's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Zahradnicek tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Ramirez cranks the arm and Zahradnicek screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Zahradnicek, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

A looping hook to the body misses from Paul. McSweeney does a little dance to reset his feet.
McSweeney tries to close the distance and clinch but Paul swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Paul misses with a wild body shot.
McSweeney tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
McSweeney gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Paul swings for the body but McSweeney moves out of range.

Paul throws a series of punches but McSweeney moves out of range.
McSweeney moves in looking to clinch but Paul pushes him off.
McSweeney shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Paul blocks a low kick nicely.
Paul lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McSweeney circles away quickly and effectively.
McSweeney should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Nice uppercut lands for Paul. That snapped McSweeney's head back.

Paul lands a big uppercut and McSweeney crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but McSweeney looks OK. Paul waves McSweeney back to his feet!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Paul scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Paul misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McSweeney.
Paul lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Paul.

McSweeney is rocked!
Paul is looking to wear down McSweeney with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Paul lands a right hook to the body.
Paul misses the shot to the body.
McSweeney leaves his chin hanging out and Paul seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! McSweeney crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Sword is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Sword's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
