Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Auto Bot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mykka Hoivunen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoivunen has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoivunen loads up on a big right hand but Bot slips the punch.
Hoivunen looks gassed!
Hoivunen missing with a left hand there. Bot was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Bot shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hoivunen defends it nicely.

Bot moves into the clinch successfully.
Hoivunen has had enough of the clinch but Bot keeps him there for the moment.
Bot jumps guard but Hoivunen turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Bot wants to take the fight to the mat but Hoivunen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Auto Bot. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hoivunen prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bot fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Hoivunen is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Hoivunen is pressed up against the cage. Bot has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Hoivunen down to the mat. Hoivunen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hoivunen needs to keep his hands up - Bot had a free shot at his head there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hoivunen wants to land a leg kick but Bot is out of range.
Bot lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hoivunen at a distance.

Bot manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hoivunen on his heels. He'll look to pass Hoivunen's guard now, I'm sure.

Bot is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Bot stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hoivunen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Bot thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Bot seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hoivunen for as long as he can get away with.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Auto Bot just wasn't active enough.
Bot throws a nice looking combination but Hoivunen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Mykka Hoivunen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bot fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Bot changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hoivunen looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Bot slows the pace down.

Bot tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Hoivunen is letting Bot control him for a moment.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hoivunen is looking to reverse the position.
Bot remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Bot grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Hoivunen takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Bot cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McSweeney throws a head kick but Poppy moves out of range.

Poppy drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Poppy as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! McSweeney screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Poppy! Nice submission victory there!
