The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tua looks for a takedown but Glare sprawls well.
Glare shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tua pinned against the cage. Tua gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Glare throws out a leg kick but Tua moves out of range and Glare only half commits.

Glare gets a clinch.
Glare is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Tua keeps control of Glare as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Glare manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nate Tua will probably get the nod.

Ali shoots for a takedown but Jom saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Jom stalks Ali and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Ali's face. Ali staggers backwards, shaken.

It looks like Basit Ali has been cut.
Ali on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Ali avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ali takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Jom lands with a right hand.
Donk. Jom catches Ali right on the button with a cross.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jom throws a series of punches but Ali avoids them all with ease.
