The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peach avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stabile throws a head kick but Peach moves out of range.
Peach throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Peach throws a series of punches but Stabile moves out of range. Good shot there by Peach. Stabile pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Peach swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Stabile counters with a nice kick to the body. Peach scores with a hook. Stabile decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stabile stands up and beckons Peach to join him on the feet. Stabile looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Peach is fending him off so far but Stabile persists. Nope, Peach circles away and we're back to standing. Peach sends Stabile crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Peach is motioning to the referee to let Stabile up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Stabile is rocked! Peach throws a series of punches but Stabile avoids them all with ease. Oh Stabile is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Stabile is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Peach doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Stabile crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Stabile's bad books for that mishap!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Abodo tries for a kimura. Klitschko shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Abodo pinned against the cage. Abodo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Klitschko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Abodo circles away quickly and effectively. Abodo fails in his attempt to clinch. Abodo moves into the clinch. Abodo lands a good knee to the midsection. Klitschko won't want to take too many of those. Abodo working some nice short punches in the clinch. Abodo crunches a lovely knee into Klitschko's ribcage. Abodo scores with a shot to the side of Klitschko's head. Abodo lands a takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Klitschko keeping moving, preventing Abodo from controlling successfully. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Abodo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Klitschko kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Abodo works a leg free and moves into half guard. Abodo seems to be looking for submissions.

Klitschko might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Abodo is keen to just control but Klitschko is a slippery customer. Abodo works his way into full mount!

Abodo has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Abodo is looking for a choke. Klitschko gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Klitschko manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard. Abodo looking for a sweep. Not yet Abodo, not yet. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Abodo holds on and takes a little breather. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Abodo is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Abodo drops back looking for a leg! Klitschko is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Klitschko manages to kick Abodo off! Abodo jumps back into Klitschko's guard. Klitschko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Abodo wants to control from the top but Klitschko keeps moving. Abodo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Abodo trying to move into half guard but instead Klitschko has managed to sweep!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Klitschko missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Abodo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Abodo is on top in guard.

Abodo tries to move into full mount but can't pass Klitschko's legs. Klitschko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Abodo on the ground. Klitschko being controlled for a moment. Abodo wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Klitschko, who protects the arm well. Vitali Klitschko has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Abodo is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Klitschko will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Rugowski lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Holliday uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Nucka. Holliday throws a nice looking combination but Nucka bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Holliday drops Nucka with a beautiful combination! Nucka stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Holliday is looking for the KO!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drago misses the jab. Punch just misses with a punch to the body.
Drago stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Drago wants it to stay on the feet. Punch lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Drago closes the distance and lands a one-two. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Drago. Punch scores with a jab to the body. Drago fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Punch looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Punch connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Nice shot lands for Drago. Nice shot lands for Drago. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Punch lands a slapping body shot.

Drago takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Punch fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Drago manages to avoid it. Drago avoids a punch combination nicely.
Drago drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Punch misses the jab. Drago looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Punch lands a two punch combo.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Martin Drago has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Punch lunges at Drago with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Drago's hand. Punch shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Drago sprawls well. Drago wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Punch gets slowly back to his feet. Punch keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Drago. Punch thuds his right hand into Drago's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

It looks like Dave Plank has been cut. Plank scores with a hook. Smith tries to clinch up but Plank circles away and keeps his distance. Plank drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Smith wants to get back to his feet but Plank drags him back down. Plank works to advance to full mount. Smith defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Plank looking to secure an arm triangle but Smith defends it well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Plank swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Smith is now in Plank's guard. A big mistake from Plank there, giving up the dominant position! Smith has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Smith stops Plank from standing up.

Plank wants to stand and escape but Smith is having none of it. Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Plank is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Smith misses the shot to the body. Smith moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
It looks like Austin Smith has been cut. An inside leg kick from Plank misses. Smith getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Plank buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Plank misses with a low kick. Plank jabbing away but nothing is landing. Crack! A monster head kick from Smith and Plank falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Smith!
