The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCain closes the distance and lands a one-two.

It looks like Kyle Griffin has been cut.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Griffin is defended easily by McCain.
McCain getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Griffin ducks right into an uppercut from McCain.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Griffin closes the distance and clinches up with McCain, looking for a takedown. Griffin pushes McCain against the cage but McCain circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
McCain throws a nice inside leg kick.

McCain throws a leg kick which misses Griffin's front leg but catches the back leg as Griffin tries to avoid it.
Griffin takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Griffin drops his hands for a split second and McCain immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Griffin face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. McCain follows up with a right hand that knocks Griffin into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!

Sonnen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sonnen fails with the takedown.
Sonnen wants to clinch up but Wells keeps it at a distance.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Wells.
Sonnen takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Wells throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wells connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Oh Sonnen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wells changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Sonnen seems to have got his legs back now.
Wells slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Sonnen walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Wells swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Gigalo covers up and Roach unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

After winning the bout, Bartholomew Roach thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Rodrigo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Rodrigo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rodrigo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Pol screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
