Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peace Love (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damien OQuinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). OQuinn comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Creep Fast- Twista kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Damien OQuinn is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Damien OQuinn! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Love shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. OQuinn is trying to defend but Love finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Love prevents OQuinn from standing back up.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if OQuinn can do anything to dispel that myth. Love seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but OQuinn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Love is trying to work for a kimura but OQuinn is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Love wants to take a breather but OQuinn is having none of it. Love stops OQuinn from getting back to his feet.

Love is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because OQuinn is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Love shoots for a double leg takedown but OQuinn sprawls well. He's pushed Love's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Love throws a body punch but OQuinn moves out of range. OQuinn shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Love as he avoids it easily. OQuinn tries to clinch up. Love shoots in looking for a takedown. OQuinn tries to sprawl out of it but Love keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. OQuinn manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Love misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from OQuinn.

Love shoots and misses and OQuinn counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by OQuinn. Love has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. OQuinn pulls guard effortlessly. OQuinn wants to stand but Love is controlling the position.

OQuinn wants to stand but Love is controlling the position. OQuinn is breathing heavily. Love thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Love in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Damien OQuinn has got the better of the ground game so far. OQuinn keeping moving, preventing Love from controlling successfully. Love has gone for a leg lock! OQuinn slips out almost immediately though and dives into Love's guard. OQuinn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

OQuinn trying to control but Love is working from the bottom. OQuinn might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Love kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. OQuinn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Love escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. OQuinn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. OQuinn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Love swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Love has his foot on OQuinn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. OQuinn works his way back into a safe position though. OQuinn is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. OQuinn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Damien OQuinn. Love throws a body punch but OQuinn moves out of range. Love fakes high and swings low for a body shot but OQuinn manages to avoid it. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. No luck for OQuinn with that takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. OQuinn dives in and grabs Love's left leg, looking for a takedown. Love pushes down on OQuinn's head and hops out. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OQuinn bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. OQuinn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Love. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. OQuinn wants to lay and pray for a moment but Love keeps working. Love is letting OQuinn control him for a moment. Love wants to control but OQuinn postures up. Love prevents OQuinn from moving into mount. Love is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. OQuinn trying to control the action but Love is working from the bottom. Love won't allow OQuinn to pass to mount. Love has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. OQuinn is working away from the top position though. Love moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. OQuinn takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. OQuinn tries to free his leg and advance position but Love is retaining full guard. OQuinn is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Love has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. OQuinn is looking to defend but Love has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for OQuinn! Love pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, OQuinn taps out and this one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Menezes shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Batdori but Batdori pushes him off and we're back to square one. Batdori closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Menezes pushes off an throws an elbow but Batdori leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Stalling in the clinch from Batdori.
Menezes jumps guard but Batdori turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Batdori throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Menezes misses with a knee to the head. Batdori is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Jagkero Batdori dominated that round. The cut man is working on Din Menezes's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Menezes checks a leg kick. Batdori closes the distance and pushes Menezes back into the cage. Batdori drops Menezes onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Menezes is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!

Oh Menezes is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A frustrated look appears on Menezes's face as he tries to break the clinch. Menezes seems to have got his legs back now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! With the two fighters working up against the cage, Menezes just misses with a elbow thrown towards Batdori's brow. Batdori creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Batdori throws a knee to the head but misses.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Batdori. Batdori lands an uppercut. Batdori unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Menezes! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Batdori is unloading with more strikes now! Menezes drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
