Berrao feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Berrao throws a strike but Lixa rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Berrao is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Lixa wants to stand but Berrao has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sackett fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Skywalker.
Skywalker is still on wobbly legs! Can Sackett finish him?
Skywalker looks gassed!
Sackett darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Skywalker's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Sackett before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.

Nimbou shoots in looking for a takedown. Pete tries to sprawl out of it but Nimbou keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pete manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Nimbou looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pete is fending him off so far but Nimbou persists. Nope, Pete circles away and we're back to standing.
Pete displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nimbou.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Baar Nimbou. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Nimbou gets caught napping as Pete dives in and scores a takedown. Nimbou manages to retain guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Pete has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
