I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that that guy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lazard shoots in for a takedown but guy shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. guy looks to land a combination but Lazard avoids it well. Lazard shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts guy as he jumps to the side. Lazard blocks a jab. guy keeps the fight on the outside. Lazard misses with a takedown attempt - guy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leon Lazard. That's going to take a lot out of him. guy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lazard throws a right and a left that guy avoids nicely. Lazard throws the kick towards the body but guy avoids it.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and guy wants it to stay on the feet. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Lazard is trying to control the position but guy postures up. guy throwing strikes but missing. guy pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lazard misses with a takedown attempt - guy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. guy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lazard circles away quickly and effectively. Lazard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Nice takedown defense from guy. No joy for Lazard on that attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lazard will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lazard looks for a takedown but guy sprawls well. guy slaps away a takedown attempt from Lazard, before circling back to the center of the mat. Lazard tries for a takedown but guy circles away easily and guy counters with a straight right hand. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. guy swats away the attempt to clinch by Lazard. A left and a right from guy both land. Nice combination. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Leon Lazard will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!

No luck with that takedown attempt from guy. that guy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. guy keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. guy bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lazard's head backwards.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lazard displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from guy. guy misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lazard keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from guy. Lazard tries to clinch but fails miserably and guy counters with a left and a right that stings Lazard. Lazard takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Leon Lazard. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lazard, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! LeVere throws a series of punches but Stiltzkin moves out of range. Stiltzkin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Stiltzkin shoots in but LeVere avoids the takedown attempt easily. LeVere is looking to clinch but Stiltzkin is avoiding it.
Stiltzkin shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says LeVere as he avoids it easily. LeVere feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. LeVere looking to pass the guard. LeVere trying to control but Stiltzkin is working from the bottom. Stiltzkin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
LeVere has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Stiltzkin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Stiltzkin postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for LeVere to stand up. LeVere shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Stiltzkin is trying to maintain the position but LeVere is very close to passing his half guard. Stiltzkin is trying to get back to full guard.

LeVere wants to free his trapped foot but Stiltzkin is holding on for dear life with his legs. LeVere trying to control the action but Stiltzkin is working from the bottom. Stiltzkin trying to control but LeVere postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Stiltzkin scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. LeVere is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stiltzkin has control of an arm but LeVere manages to advance to Stiltzkin's back! Stiltzkin rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Stiltzkin is refusing to be controlled, as LeVere sits in half guard. Stiltzkin controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. LeVere is trying to control the action in half guard but Stiltzkin is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Stiltzkin keeping hold of LeVere's head, controlling as best he can. Stiltzkin manages to get to full guard.

Rumple Stiltzkin dominated that round. That's time! LeVere's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Stiltzkin gets in close and instigates a clinch. Stiltzkin works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Stiltzkin trying to control the position from guard on top but LeVere is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. LeVere is working an open guard so Stiltzkin takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Stiltzkin fails with the takedown and LeVere counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. LeVere misses with a double jab.
That's one minute gone in the round. LeVere tries to bum rush Stiltzkin with a series of wild strikes but Stiltzkin uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Stiltzkin tries to clinch up but LeVere circles away and keeps his distance. Miles LeVere seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. LeVere tries to clinch but Stiltzkin moves away and Stiltzkin counters by moving into the clinch. Nice body punch from Stiltzkin - that landed with a thud.
Stiltzkin changes levels and goes for a takedown here. LeVere fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Stiltzkin will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Miles LeVere has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rumple Stiltzkin. LeVere tries to clinch but Stiltzkin moves away and Stiltzkin counters with a leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. LeVere gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Stiltzkin counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in LeVere's guard now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stiltzkin postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! LeVere is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Stiltzkin, into his guard. Stiltzkin keeping moving, preventing LeVere from controlling successfully. Stiltzkin pulls LeVere in close to prevent any damage. This has been an exciting period of action! Let's hope that Stiltzkin has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stiltzkin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Stiltzkin pulls LeVere in close to his closed guard and prevents LeVere from doing any damage or advancing position. Stiltzkin is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. LeVere wants to get back to full guard. Stiltzkin passes into side control, despite LeVere's attempt to control the position.
Stiltzkin stands up and beckons LeVere to his feet. Stiltzkin is looking to clinch but LeVere is avoiding it.
Stiltzkin shoots in for a takedown but LeVere shows good takedown defense. Stiltzkin closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rumple Stiltzkin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

LeVere gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. LeVere gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Stiltzkin counters with a nice double leg into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miles LeVere. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stiltzkin decides to stand and escape the position. LeVere gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Stiltzkin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stiltzkin is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for LeVere!
That's one minute gone in the round. Stiltzkin is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. LeVere is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. LeVere flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Stiltzkin anticipates the leg and manages to get behind LeVere and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Stiltzkin slips an arm under LeVere chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Stiltzkin has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Stiltzkin is squeezing on LeVere like an anaconda would it's prey. LeVere fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Adams shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pheonix sprawls well. Pheonix wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Adams gets slowly back to his feet. Pheonix has his takedown stuffed and Adams counters with a nice double leg into guard. Adams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pheonix swivels though and keeps the full guard. Adams drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Pheonix dives on top into guard. Adams is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Adams has his feet on Pheonix's thighs here. He's pushed Pheonix off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Pheonix screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Night waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Johnson. Nice sprawl there from Night as Johnson shoots in. Donald Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Night defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Johnson. Night swats away the attempt to clinch by Johnson. Night looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Night is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Johnson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Night works his way into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Night is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Johnson has escaped the position, nice work there. Johnson is being controlled here. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. You can see the frustration on Johnson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Night gets to mount! Johnson was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Night can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Johnson is looking to escape. Night content just to control the position here.
