The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ilyukha shoots in for a takedown but Kingston shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ilyukha shoots in looking for a takedown but Kingston manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ilyukha's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Kingston decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Kingston looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ilyukha with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Power fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Power looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Power sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Moore closes the distance and clinches.
Moore pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Martell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Knoflook tries to avoid it but Martell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Knoflook to the ground. Knoflook escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Knoflook lands a big uppercut and Martell crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Martell looks OK. Knoflook waves Martell back to his feet!
