The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chaos scores with a jab to the jaw. Chaos throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Marcioni showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Chaos.
Marcioni throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Chaos rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Marcioni moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Chaos lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Marcioni looks gassed! Chaos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. It looks like Rocky Marcioni has been cut. Chaos is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Marcioni can do to turn this around? Chaos throws an uppercut from hell that sends Marcioni clean off his feet! He's out cold! Santana will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Santana shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kershaw defends it nicely. Santana wants to clinch up but Kershaw keeps it at a distance. No joy there for Santana, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Irvin closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Irvin lands in his opponent's guard. Dough wants to sweep but no luck. Dough throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Irvin wants to control from the top but Dough keeps moving. Irvin working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Dough keeping moving, preventing Irvin from controlling successfully. Dough thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Dough throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Josh Irvin. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Irvin, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Lassiter stuns Prime with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Prime looks gassed! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Knox's head. Knox is staying active underneath Drysdale, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Drysdale seems to be working for a kimura but Knox defends the submission attempt. Drysdale is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Knox is just riding it out for now. Drysdale eventually gives up the hold. Knox is trying to stand.

Falk looks to score with a jab to the body but boxxer is just out of range. boxxer chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Falk can pounce on him.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from boxxer. Falk closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. boxxer is still in real trouble! Can Falk finish him? Falk is figuring out what he wants to do next. boxxer seems to have recovered his senses. Falk has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in boxxer's guard. boxxer is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Falk dives into side control.
Falk passes to full mount! That's big trouble for boxxer! Falk is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Falk throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Falk stalks boxxer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into boxxer's face. boxxer staggers backwards, shaken. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Grimaldi prevents a body shot from Wrenton. Grimaldi blocks an uppercut.

Tyler rushes Smith with punches - Smith moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Smith goes down! Tyler follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!
