The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ekkart looks to score with a jab to the body but Blagech is just out of range. Blagech doesn't manage to clinch there - Ekkart circles away.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice cross by Smart. Luikuri closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Smart blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Luikuri tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Luikuri pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. A big left from Smart misses. Smart connects with a jab.
It looks like Eero Luikuri has been cut. Smart paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Luikuri is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Luikuri throws a body punch but Smart moves out of range. Smart connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Luikuri! He's out on his feet! Smart rushes in and drops Luikuri with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Maxwell Smart! A victorious Maxwell Smart thanked his army of followers in his post fight interview, telling people to make sure they follow him on Twitter.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! James shoots for a double leg takedown but Thorhalla sprawls well. He's pushed James's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Thorhalla tries a head kick but it misses.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - James has eaten all the pies! Nice takedown defense from James. No joy for Thorhalla on that attempt. James with a lazy takedown attempt and Thorhalla decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in James's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Thorhalla trying to control the position from guard on top but James is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. James is trying to keep Thorhalla in close.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
