The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sniddlegrass throws a leg kick but Ballswick sees it coming and moves out of range. Sniddlegrass displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Ballswick throws out the jab. Ballswick moves into the clinch. Ballswick tightens his grip and picks Sniddlegrass up, before dumping him to the ground. Sniddlegrass manages to land in guard. Ballswick stands up from Sniddlegrass's guard - Ballswick perhaps looking for a knockout. Ballswick moves into range and clinches up with Sniddlegrass. Ballswick gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Sniddlegrass regains guard.
Sniddlegrass wants to stand but Ballswick is controlling the position. Ballswick drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ballswick jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sniddlegrass keeping full guard, as Ballswick tries to pass. Sniddlegrass looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sniddlegrass is working an open guard so Ballswick takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Ballswick is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sniddlegrass defends well. Ballswick has a closed guard, preventing Sniddlegrass from standing up. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reese closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Reese lands in his opponent's guard. Grant trying to keep a closed guard but Reese is proving a slippery customer.
Grant looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Grant is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Reese with a flurry of punches that miss. Reese won't allow Grant to sweep him here. Reese has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Grant wants to hit a switch here but Reese passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Grant there! Grant working to try and regain half guard.
Reese is in the full mount, landing strikes. Grant takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grant sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Reese is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Grant is hurt! He's hurt bad - Reese fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Grant from any more punishment! Congratulations to Reese! Great finish!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown misses with a straight right. Brown throws a combination that misses enabling Gracie to counter with a crisp jab. Brown throws a series of punches but Gracie avoids them all with ease. Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gracie scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Brown moves out of range as Gracie strikes. Gracie throws a sloppy head kick and Brown moves out of range easily. Gracie avoids a punch combination nicely.
Gracie tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Brown takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Good standup being displayed there by Gracie as he connects with a hook. Brown ducks under a wild hook from Gracie. Brown avoids the body shot from Gracie.

Gracie seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brown does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Brown regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Gracie. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brown is pulling down on Gracie's head to control his posture. Gracie throws a strike but Brown rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Brown passes easily into side control. Brown throws an elbow but Gracie slips to the side and avoids it well. Gracie tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Brown wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. You can see the frustration on Gracie's face as Brown controls the position. Gracie is looking for a sweep. Gracie is trying to escape the position but Brown is controlling the position. Brown tries to move into full mount but can't pass Gracie's legs. Brown decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gracie to his feet. Brown throws a leg kick but Gracie moved away. Gracie looks for the body kick but Brown saw that one coming. Gracie tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown throws a wild body kick that Gracie sees coming a mile off. Gracie throws a hook to the side of Brown's head but Brown sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Gracie stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. A head kick misses from Gracie. Gracie throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Gracie keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Brown thows a left - swing and a miss! Gracie throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Nice cross by Brown. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. A combination from Gracie does no damage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Brown tries to land a front kick but Gracie steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Brown crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gracie - the referee stops the clock and Brown gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gracie. Brown manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Gracie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Brown throws out the jab. A big left from Gracie misses. Brown takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. A punch combination from Gracie misses. Brown misses with a double jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Gracie slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Brown moves out of range as Gracie throws a body kick.
Gracie throws a leg kick but Brown sees it coming and moves out of range. Gracie throws a right hand that Brown ducks under and follows up with a left that Brown also avoids with ease. Brown lands a nice looking body shot.
Gracie moves forwards but Brown connects with a nice, crisp jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gracie bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Gracie scores with a three punch combo!

Kron Gracie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brown misses with a looping left. Brown seems to have recovered his senses. Gracie tries to land a front kick but Brown steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Gracie is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Gracie looks for the body kick but Brown saw that one coming. Gracie chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Brown can pounce on him.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A punch combination from Brown misses. Brown misses with a combination

Gracie waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brown. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Brown takes a swing at Gracie's ribcage but misses. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Gracie scores with a jab to the body. Brown looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

and Brown counters with a stiff right hand. Gracie cracks Brown with an open hand slap. Brown throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Gracie counters with a solid body kick. Brown takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. That kick from Gracie tenderised Brown's leg. Brown is trying to keep his angry face on. Gracie connects with a body shot. Gracie throws a shot to the body.
Gracie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Gracie loads up on a big right hand but Brown slips the punch. Brown looks up at the clock. Bad move! Gracie lands a right hand from hell, dropping Brown. Gracie pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jenkins is looking to clinch. A momentary lapse in concentration from Jenkins enables Coon to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jenkins manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Coon distracts Jenkins with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Jenkins wants to sweep here but Coon controlling him for the moment. Jenkins working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Coon. Coon postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Jenkins is looking to stand up but Coon isn't so interested in that idea. Coon postures up in Jenkins's guard and throws a big left but Jenkins blocks it. Coon stops Jenkins from standing up. Coon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Coon trying to control but Jenkins is working from the bottom. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Coon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Coon with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Coon passes Jenkins's left leg - he's now in half guard. Coon takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Jenkins blocking the ground and pound attempt from Coon. Jenkins is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Coon working Jenkins over with strikes. Coon slips a nice elbow through Jenkins's hands, connecting with Jenkins's forehead. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Slick scores with a spinning back kick! Stglitz manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Slick on his heels. It connects and Visigoth has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Visigoth takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Visigoth moves out of range of the leg kick from Richard. Visigoth changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Richard tries to avoid it but Visigoth manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Richard to the ground. Richard escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Visigoth moves out of range as Richard throws a body kick.
