Ak tries to clinch there but Dell circles away.
Ak keeps Dell at a distance using the push kick.
Ak tries to close the distance and clinch but Dell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Dell stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ak.
Dell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ak.
Ak rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Dell counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Ak is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Dell stuffs the takedown attempt from Ak. Ak gets slowly back to his feet.
Ak is looking to score with low kicks.
Ak throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Dell cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

It looks like Sergei Ak has been cut.
Dell swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dell is trying to improve his position.

Ak goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dell has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ak but great work by Dell.
Ak parries the strikes from Dell easily there. Dell is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ak to escape.
Dell lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ak down.
Ak is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Ak is trying to work for a sweep but Dell has mounted him!
Dell is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Ak is wriggling around trying to escape.

Ak is in a horrible position here. Dell smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Ak throws a hook to the side of Dell's head but Dell sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Dell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dell with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Dell chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ak can pounce on him.
Ak shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dell as he jumps to the side.

Ak moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ak lands a nice looking kick to the body. Dell takes a step back to recover.

Dell can't find room to land a body shot as Ak controls the action.

Ak turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Ak manages to end up in side control.
Ak wants to take a breather but Dell manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Ak.

Ak has control of Dell's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Dell regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like Bowman Dell has been cut.
Sergei Ak overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Ak cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Charriot catches Gribov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

and Gribov counters with an inside leg kick.
Gribov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Charriot moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Gribov misses with an uppercut. Charriot saw that one coming.

Charriot throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Gribov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Charriot manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Charriot suckers Gribov into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Charriot is now in Gribov's guard!

Charriot must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Gribov pulls Charriot in close to his closed guard and prevents Charriot from doing any damage or advancing position.

Gribov has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Charriot is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gribov.

Charriot decides to stand up, so the ref orders Gribov to his feet.

Charriot uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gribov has time to react.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fedor Alexandrov.
