Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Brian Conners (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Watts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Brian Conners! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jack Watts! The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watts clinches up with Conners and pushes him back against the cage. Conners tries to circle away but Watts has him pinned against the cage. Watts struggles to land a body shot inside as Conners controls his hands.
Watts misses with a body punch.
Conners tries to pull guard but Watts won't allow it.
Conners is trying to trip Watts. He has hold of a leg but Watts is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Conners persists though and gets the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Conners is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Conners thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Watts wants to stand and escape but Conners is having none of it. Conners will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conners drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Conners seems to have locked his on tight now - Watts screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Conners, as he picks up the win!
