Gannicus bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Dael's head backwards.

It looks like Faustine Dael has been cut.
Dael fails with the takedown.

Gannicus clinches up against the cage.

Gannicus's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Gannicus gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Dael tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Dael is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Gannicus to keep the fight standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gannicus stuffs the takedown attempt from Dael. Dael gets slowly back to his feet.
Gannicus comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Dael is breathing heavily.
Dael looks for a takedown but Gannicus sprawls well.
Dael takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Oh Dael is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Dael. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Gannicus wobbles Dael with a right hand and the left hook that follows puts him on his rear! Gannicus dives in with a huge flying punch that connects right on the button and puts Dael to sleep! - What a violent and spectacular finish!

The ref is looking closely - Punch is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Punch is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
