The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Asko Vilenius has been cut.
Vilenius cracks Voll with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Vilenius tries to bum rush Voll with a series of wild strikes but Voll uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Zappa goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Natsi has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Zappa but great work by Natsi.

Nurmi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Szczerek tries to avoid it but Nurmi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Szczerek to the ground. Szczerek escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Hilton's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Hilton was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Large screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
