The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frenchy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Jin's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jin wants to stand and escape but Frenchy is having none of it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jin has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever.
Jin has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.

Kane Frenchy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Yoshii Akiyama.

Yang connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Yang scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Tabashi misses with a body shot.
Tabashi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Tabashi looks to throw the jab but Yang is out of range.
Yang tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tabashi was well out of range. Poor timing from Yang.
Tabashi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Yang sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Yang drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Yang slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Tabashi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Tabashi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Yang moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nice straight punches there by Yang. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Yang.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Yang looks to land a combination. Tabashi sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tabashi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Yang has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Yang and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
