The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Porunov with a lazy takedown attempt and Kotzlowski counters with a series of strikes. Porunov will be more careful next time no doubt. Kotzlowski throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Porunov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kotzlowski is in Porunov's guard. Kotzlowski trying to control but Porunov is working from the bottom. Porunov preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Porunov pulls Kotzlowski in close to prevent any damage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kotzlowski wants to pass the guard but Porunov is keeping the position.
