1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Igor Raffinksi! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Eliza Hachem.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raffinksi misses the jab. Raffinksi misses with a straight left. Raffinksi cracks Ruzhyo with a good jab. Raffinksi waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ruzhyo. Ruzhyo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Raffinksi avoids it really well and circles away.
Raffinksi lands a big uppercut and Ruzhyo crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Ruzhyo looks OK. Raffinksi waves Ruzhyo back to his feet!
 Ruzhyo is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ruzhyo.
Ruzhyo rushes Raffinksi and presses him up against the cage. Raffinksi is trying to break free.
Ruzhyo decides to pull guard. Raffinksi stopping the sweep attempt from Ruzhyo. Raffinksi slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

 The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Igor Raffinksi. Ruzhyo shoots in looking for a takedown. Raffinksi tries to sprawl out of it but Ruzhyo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Raffinksi manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ruzhyo is looking to stand up but Raffinksi won't let him. Raffinksi striking off his back but it's not causing Ruzhyo any problems. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Raffinksi can do anything to dispel that myth. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Raffinksi holds on and takes a little breather. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

 OK we're going to have a standup here. Igor Raffinksi hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Ruzhyo on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Raffinksi cracks Ruzhyo with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ruzhyo looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away� can Raffinksi finish him?
Oh Ruzhyo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Raffinksi misses with a straight left. Raffinksi throws a poor cross that misses
and Ruzhyo counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Raffinksi! Raffinksi is desperately trying to improve his position but Ruzhyo has a good base and remains in mount. Ruzhyo seems to have got his legs back now. Raffinksi wants to try and get back to his feet. Raffinksi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ruzhyo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Ruzhyo tries to control but Raffinksi wriggling away. Raffinksi tries to improve his position but instead Ruzhyo has taken his back! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ruzhyo doesn't have the hooks in and Raffinksi manages to turn into his guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Raffinksi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ruzhyo looking to hit a scissor sweep but Raffinksi is one step ahead there. Raffinksi engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Ruzhyo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Raffinksi avoids it really well and circles away. Ruzhyo tries to score a power double leg takedown but Raffinksi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ruzhyo somewhat. Nice straight punches there by Raffinksi. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Raffinksi. Raffinksi with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Raffinksi cracks Ruzhyo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Raffinksi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ruzhyo to stand back up! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. This has been an exciting period of action! Ruzhyo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Raffinksi swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikhayl Ruzhyo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Raffinksi moves out of range as Ruzhyo strikes.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Raffinksi circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Ruzhyo tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Raffinksi wins by KO!

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dawiz on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Hughes throws a head kick that Dawiz semi-blocks.
 It looks like Edwin Dawiz has been cut. Hughes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hughes misses with a head kick.

Hughes moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Dawiz has a takedown stuffed. Hughes rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dawiz moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hughes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Dawiz counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hughes! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Dawiz postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Hughes looks a forlorn figure.

and Richards decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Yoponku's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Yoponku trying to keep a closed guard but Richards is proving a slippery customer.

 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis throws a low kick but Varnsen avoids it. Varnsen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Davis tried to score with a low kick but Varnsen checks it.
Davis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Varnsen's guard.
