Jarvainian blocks the body kick.
Atkin stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Atkin wants it to stay on the feet.
Jarvainian feints and as Atkin raises his hands in defense, Jarvainian changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

A jab and a right hook connect and Slaughter buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Slaughter!! Slaughter is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Ferguson throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durant misses with a wild combination.
Durant doesn't manage to clinch there - Stevenson circles away.
Durant throws a jab but it's blocked by Stevenson.
Durant looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Stevenson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
