Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Billy Lightning (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kyle Durango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Durango's choice of entrance music: Survival Tactics. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kyle Durango! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lightning slips a jab and a cross from Durango.
Lightning dodges the punch combination from Durango.
Lightning shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Durango but Durango pushes him off and we're back to square one. Durango fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lightning fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Durango to the ground. Lightning is now in Durango's guard. Lightning looking to pass the guard. Lightning advances position into side control! Durango really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lightning. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Durango is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lightning asserts his dominance and retains side control. Lightning looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Lightning wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Durango, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lightning tries to advance to mount but Durango denies him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Lightning advances to mount. Lightning moves to back control. Lightning throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Durango!
Lightning working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Lightning trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lightning looking to break Durango's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Durango remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Lightning will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lightning is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Durango defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Lightning.
Lightning is breathing heavily. Durango is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Durango wants to get back to his feet.

Durango manages to escape to his feet. Durango misses with a low kick. Durango misses with a double jab
letting Lightning counter with a right hand. Lightning fails with the takedown. Durango misses the jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Durango throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Durango lands with a hook. Lightning tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Lightning will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Lightning. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lightning shoots in looking for a takedown. Durango tries to sprawl out of it but Lightning keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Durango manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Lightning fails with the takedown. Lightning on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Lightning walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Durango misses with a few strikes there.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Durango will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Durango throws a hook but Lightning avoids it easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Lightning dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lightning closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lightning lands in his opponent's guard. Lightning tries to free his leg and advance position but Durango is retaining full guard. Lightning drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Durango manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Lightning has Durango in his guard. Lightning has his feet on Durango's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Lightning slips a jab and a cross from Durango.
Lightning shoots in for a takedown but Durango shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kyle Durango is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Durango is looking to chop away at Lightning's legs. A head kick misses from Durango. Durango looks to land a combination but Lightning avoids it well. Kyle Durango seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lightning tries to score a power double leg takedown but Durango sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lightning somewhat. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Durango swinging wildly here.

Lightning has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Durango! Lightning trying to control but Durango is having none of it. Lightning working the ground and pound effectively.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lightning working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Durango turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Lightning off and cradles Durango's limp body as Lightning celebrates with his corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Benton tries to clinch up but Tyson circles away and keeps his distance. Benton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Benton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Tyson throws out the jab. Benton fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mike Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tyson throws a jab but it's blocked by Benton. Tyson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tyson works Benton's body with a nice hook. Tyson stuffs the takedown attempt from Benton. Benton gets slowly back to his feet. Tyson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Benton keeping full guard, as Tyson tries to pass. Tyson connects with a couple of short punches. Tyson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Benton's guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tyson slips a nice elbow through Benton's hands, connecting with Benton's forehead. Tyson throwing shots but Benton is blocking nicely. Tyson is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Tyson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Benton can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Benton is rocked! Tyson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Benton takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Tyson's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown by Gayce or perhaps it was just good defense by Adam which made him look bad. Gayce tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Adam paws at him with a jab and circles away. Gayce shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Adam defends it nicely. Adam lands with a good body shot. Gayce throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Adam's waist but Adam gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Gayce off to one side. Trequan Adam has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rice Gayce. Adam closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gayce quickly recovers to half guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Still in half guard, Adam seems content to control. Gayce wants to control but Adam is keeping busy and won't allow it. Gayce has hold of Adam's hands but Adam slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Adam darts in and clinches Gayce up against the cage. Adam ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Adam no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Adam has control of Gayce's left arm, preventing Gayce from doing any damage. Gayce would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Adam is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Gayce wants to control from the top but Adam keeps moving. Adam keeping full guard, as Gayce tries to pass.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adam can't keep his opponent in guard - Gayce advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Adam landing a few short strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gayce is just content to waste time from the top position. Adam takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Adam pulls Gayce in close to prevent any damage. Gayce wants to control from the top but Adam keeps moving. Adam on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Adam tries to get out of the position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Gayce wants to stand but Adam is controlling his posture from full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Adam is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Adam utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gayce looking to pass the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gayce won't allow Adam to sweep him here. Adam is trying to keep Gayce in close.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Gayce is defended easily by Adam. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gayce shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Adam turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Adam manages to end up in side control. Adam throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Trequan Adam overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Gayce tries to bench press Adam off him but Adam keeps the position. You can see the frustration on Gayce's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Gayce is trying to escape the position but Adam is controlling the position. Adam knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Gayce on the ground. Gayce manages to work his way to half guard, despite Adam's best efforts. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Adam prevents Gayce from improving his position. Gayce wants to control but Adam is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Adam throws a big elbow that misses. Adam has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Adam is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Gayce seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Adam has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Gayce manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Gayce is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Adam pulls his head out easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Adam tries to stand and escape but Gayce actually recovers to full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Adam has gone for a leg lock! Gayce slips out almost immediately though and dives into Adam's guard. Adam is trying to control the position but Gayce postures up. Gayce wants to control from the top but Adam keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Adam is looking to sweep but instead, Gayce has passed into half guard.

Gayce takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Gayce is looking to advance position but Adam won't allow it. Gayce sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Adam defending well though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Gayce is trying to work for a kimura but Adam is defending well.
Rice Gayce has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Trequan Adam is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Gayce seems to be working for a kimura but Adam defends the submission attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! Rice Gayce comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Adam has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yog-Sothoth walks into a jab. Silva circles away from the clinch attempt and Yog-Sothoth takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Silva drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Silva creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Silva lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Silva is trying to get an arm triangle but Yog-Sothoth is defending well. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Esposito lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Blake head around and knocks him out cold! Esposito hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
