The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Braddick lands a nice shot to the body.
de Piedra throws a quick inside leg kick. de Piedra clinches. Braddick is trying to break free. Braddick has had enough of the clinch but de Piedra keeps him there for the moment. Braddick wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Braddick wants to get back to striking at distance but de Piedra won't allow it.
de Piedra trying to land knees to the body.
Braddick breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Braddick throws a nice looking combination but de Piedra bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Braddick, as that shot connected.
Braddick drops de Piedra with a right and a left! Braddick comes rushing in but de Piedra regains his composure and manages to keep Braddick in guard.
de Piedra is rocked!
It looks like Manos de Piedra has been cut. de Piedra has a closed guard, preventing Braddick from standing up. de Piedra is still in real trouble! Can Braddick finish him? de Piedra wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Braddick is now in half guard. de Piedra is trying to control but can't.
de Piedra seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. de Piedra keeping control of the position. de Piedra tries to get to full guard but Braddick has control of the leg. de Piedra has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Braddick is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. de Piedra is trying to get back to full guard. de Piedra is trying to stand.
Braddick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for de Piedra on the ground.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Braddick scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Braddick cracks de Piedra with a right hand to the side of the head. Braddick paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Braddick wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Braddick looks to land a combination but de Piedra avoids it well. de Piedra shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. de Piedra looks gassed! de Piedra slips a jab and a cross from Braddick.
Braddick lands with a right that hurts de Piedra. de Piedra looks to clinch but Braddick throws a short knee that drops de Piedra. This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seljo looks for a takedown but Boudewijn sprawls well. Nice takedown defense from Boudewijn. No joy for Seljo on that attempt. Boudewijn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A head kick from Boudewijn lands but Seljo takes it in his stride. Seljo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Xander Boudewijn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaki Seljo. Seljo gets the takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boudewijn tries to get back to half guard but can't. Seljo has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Danga de danga de dang - Boudewijn scores with a four punch combination! Boudewijn lands with a nice combination. Seljo backs away looking to recover. Seljo takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Boudewijn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Seljo paws at him with a jab and circles away. Seljo tries for a takedown but Boudewijn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boudewijn throws a right hand that Seljo ducks under and follows up with a left that Seljo also avoids with ease. Seljo shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Seljo looks gassed! Crunch! Boudewijn slams his shin into Seljo's torso. Seljo tries for a takedown but Boudewijn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Boudewijn throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Seljo.
Seljo is rocked! Boudewijn lands a hook that stumbles Seljo back into the cage. Boudewijn follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Seljo to the canvas! Boudewijn pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Seljo has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lowhanger blocks a head kick by Acosta.
Lowhanger tries to bum rush Acosta with a series of wild strikes but Acosta uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Acosta falls off balance throwing a combination
and Lowhanger counters with a three punch combo that has Acosta backing up. Acosta nods at Lowhanger to acknowledge the strikes. A low kick from Acosta is predictable there and Lowhanger counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Acosta is rocked! Lowhanger lands with a big right hook that stumbles Acosta - he's out on his feet here! Lowhanger follows up with another monster hook that separates Acosta from consciousness! Acosta falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Lowhanger stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Magomaev drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign! Fedor is trying to escape the position but Magomaev is controlling the position. Fedor manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Magomaev regains full guard. Nicely done. Fedor with a nice head shot there. Magomaev has momentary wrist control but Fedor slips an elbow through the middle. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fedor accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Magomaev is trying to control the position but Fedor postures up. Fedor passes easily into side control. Nice work. Magomaev gets back to half guard. Fedor looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Magomaev holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Fedor prevents Magomaev from improving his position. Fedor thows a huge punch but Magomaev dodges it nicely.

Magomaev has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fedor can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Fedor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Magomaev gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fedor tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fedor can't keep his opponent in guard - Magomaev advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Fedor controlling the position for now. Fedor is not content to let Magomaev control the position. Magomaev is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Fedor has managed to free his arm - good work. Fedor works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Magomaev is stalling in the full guard. Fedor keeping moving, preventing Magomaev from controlling successfully. Fedor lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Magomaev! Fedor landing strikes from the mount and Magomaev is in trouble! Magomaev regains half guard. Fedor is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Magomaev defends it well. Magomaev is trying to maintain the position but Fedor is very close to passing his half guard. Fedor is looking for a kimura here.

Magomaev is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Fedor defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. That was a close round but I would say that Muslim Magomaev will probably get the nod. That's time! Magomaev's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Fedor lands a head shot. Magomaev shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Magomaev goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Fedor is on top in guard.

Magomaev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fedor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fedor works a leg free and moves into half guard. Fedor is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Magomaev has hold of Fedor's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fedor manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Magomaev stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fedor swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Fedor misses with a left hand and Magomaev counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Magomaev wants to control but Fedor is keeping him busy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Magomaev prevents Fedor from improving his position.

Magomaev gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Magomaev closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Fedor lands a takedown into guard.
Magomaev avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Magomaev managing to control the position. Magomaev wants to sweep but no luck. Magomaev working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fedor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fedor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fedor postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Magomaev avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Muslim Magomaev overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Magomaev has his foot on Fedor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Fedor works his way back into a safe position though. Fedor tries to free his leg and advance position but Magomaev is retaining full guard. Magomaev wants to sweep but no luck. Fedor passes easily into side control. Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! Muslim Magomaev showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Magomaev, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Swift stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from LaRue. Horrible takedown by LaRue or perhaps it was just good defense by Swift which made him look bad. LaRue throws a big shot that misses. LaRue tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. LaRue moves in looking to clinch but Swift pushes him off. Swift lunges at LaRue with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by LaRue's hand. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! A shot to de liver by Swift. Beautiful body shot. Swift bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of LaRue's head. Swift avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Oschino Swift dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

LaRue tries to clinch up. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Swift in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. LaRue throws a sloppy body shot
and Swift cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. LaRue tries to clinch but Swift moves away letting Swift counter with a right hand.
LaRue is rocked! LaRue tries to clinch but fails miserably and Swift counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps LaRue thinking. A jab lands there for Swift. Oh LaRue is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! LaRue takes a jab right on the kisser.
Swift cracks LaRue with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends LaRue tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Swift pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! LaRue is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mason throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Tolle throws out a loose jab but Mason uses good head movement to avoid it. Tolle misses with a two punch combination.
Mason ducks under a wild hook from Tolle. Tolle paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Mo Mason has been cut. Mason moves out of range as Tolle strikes. A cross from Tolle lands. Tolle lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Mason is rocked! Mason misses with a takedown attempt - Tolle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Mason lands a really nice looking cross but Tolle seems unphased.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tolle drops Mason with a nice combination! Tolle dives into Mason's guard, looking to finish!
Oh Mason is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Tolle stands up from guard. Let's bang! Mason fails to land the takedown. Mason fails with the takedown. Mason seems to have got his legs back now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mo Mason. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice defenses there by Mason.

and Mason counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Mason prevents Tolle from getting back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mason is standing up over Tolle. Tolle looks to escape but Mason dives into side control.
Tolle is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Mason has just dragged him back down to the mat. Mason has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Tolle is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Mason yanks on the arm and Tolle is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Mason.
