The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Green gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Dig drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Green gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Green pulls guard successfully.
Green manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dig manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dig is looking for a triangle but Green pushes his legs off easily.

Green got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dig has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Green has managed to get both his arms back between Dig's legs - danger averted.

Dig has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Green can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Dig sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Green wants to control from the top but Dig keeps moving.

Dig had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Green defends it easily.

Dig pushes a forearm under Green's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Green is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Marciano closes this distance looking for a takedown but Funkyama circles away.
Funkyama chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Marciano looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Funkyama lands a leg kick that knocks Marciano off balance momentarily.
Marciano has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Funkyama.
Marciano shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Funkyama as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joey Marciano. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Marciano pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Funkyama fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Marciano.
Marciano is breathing heavily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Funkyama connects with the punch.
Marciano wants to clinch up but Funkyama keeps it at a distance.
Marciano takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Funkyama jabs at Marciano's body.

An inside leg kick lands from Funkyama.
Funkyama connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Funkyama pushes Marciano away with a front kick.
Funkyama drops Marciano with a straight right hand, right on the button! Funkyama follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
