The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jebut slips a jab and a cross from Golonka.
Golonka tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jebut swivels and escapes. Excellent takedown into side control there by Golonka. Golonka goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Jebut rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Golonka's guard! Nice work there by Jebut! Jebut looking to sit in guard and control but Golonka gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Golonka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jebut swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jebut might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Golonka is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Golonka passes Jebut's left leg - he's now in half guard. Golonka wants to work for an arm triangle but Jebut is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Golonka uses his free foot to push down on Jebut's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jebut. OK we're going to have a standup here. Irus Golonka hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Golonka defending well as Jebut loads up on a big left hand. Irus Golonka has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jebut misses with an uppercut. Golonka saw that one coming. Marek Jebut is winning the standup battle so far. Jebut looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Jebut looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Golonka with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Jebut throwing shots but Golonka is blocking nicely. Marek Jebut is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Jebut seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Golonka does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Marek Jebut overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jebut throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Golonka is trying to maintain the position but Jebut is very close to passing his half guard. Jebut with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Golonka misses with a few strikes there.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blood shoots in and drives through. Fury sprawls well. Blood swats away the attempt to clinch by Fury. Nice takedown defense from Fury. No joy for Blood on that attempt. Blood shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fury sprawls well. Fury wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Blood gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zen Blood. That's going to take a lot out of him. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Blood is defended easily by Fury. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fury. Fury shoots for a double leg takedown but Blood sprawls well. He's pushed Fury's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Fury shoots in for a takedown but Blood shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Blood is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Fury is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Fury has escaped and now he's on top! Fury landing with the ground and pound. Fury throws a big right hand that misses.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pariss looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Uri Kalechnikov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pariss tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kalechnikov was well out of range. Poor timing from Pariss. Pariss throws a series of strikes that have Kalechnikov backpedaling.
Pariss scores with a jab to the body. Pariss throws a series of punches but Kalechnikov avoids them all with ease. Pariss stuffs the takedown. A shot to the liver by Pariss. Beautiful body shot. Kalechnikov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Pariss throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Pariss missing with a left hand there. Kalechnikov was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. The fighters circling - Pariss throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Mcgarry works his way back into a safe position though.

Diaz is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Mcgarry, into his guard. Diaz wants to control from the top but Mcgarry keeps moving.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Nick Diaz hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. No luck for Mcgarry with that takedown attempt. Mcgarry has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Diaz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Diaz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mcgarry is keeping the position for now. Diaz stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Mcgarry throws up his legs and catches Diaz in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Diaz tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Mcgarry! That came out of nowhere!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. No luck with that takedown attempt from Karlsson. Brown looks to throw the jab but Karlsson is out of range.

Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Brown screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
